Beckett Woods Park (French: Parc du Bois-Beckett) is an old maple grove and beech forest in Sherbrooke, a city in southern Quebec. Covering 70 hectares, it is one of only two protected urban forests in the province and is particularly known for its rich variety of flora and fauna. The forest has 30 other tree species in addition to its groves of maple and beech and also contains clumps of hemlock. Beckett Woods is thought to be about 270 years old and has been recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Natural Resources and Wildlife as an old-growth forest. Ornithologists from all over Quebec gather for an annual meeting in the park which contains 103 different bird species. With its six kilometres of marked trails the park is also popular with hikers and cross-country skiers.

CKOY-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcasts on 107.7 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 11,000 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 25,000 watts (class C1). The station's transmitter is located at Mount Bellevue. The station identifies itself as "107,7 FM" and is one of the few full-time FM talk stations in North America to broadcast in stereo.

The Université de Sherbrooke (UdeS; English: University of Sherbrooke) is a French-language public research university in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, with a second campus in Longueuil, a suburb on the South Shore of Montreal. It is one of two universities in the Estrie region of Quebec (the other one being Bishop's University), and the only French-language university for the region. As of 2022, the Université de Sherbrooke is home to 31,000 students, and an additional 3,000 older learners (age 50+) in continuing education in its "University of the Third Age". Of its 7,400 employees, about 4,000 are teaching staff. The university has over 100,000 graduates and offers 46 undergraduate, 48 master's and 27 doctoral programs. It holds a total of 61 research chairs, among which are the pharmacology, microelectronics, statistical learning, and environment research chairs.

The Faculté de médecine is one of four medical schools in the Canadian province of Quebec. The faculty is part of the Université de Sherbrooke and is located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, southeast of Montreal.

Faculty of Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke (French: Faculté de génie de l'Université de Sherbrooke) is Université de Sherbrooke's engineering school. It is located on the university's main campus in Sherbrooke, Quebec and was founded in 1954. On its 50th anniversary a time capsule and a counter were introduced in the main hall. The time capsule will be opened in the year 2054 for the faculty's 100th anniversary. All of the faculty's programs are offered in co-op, which gives the students work experience and money to pursue their studies. Since 2001, Electrical and Computer Engineering department have been experimenting with new methods of education. The Faculty also offers a Biotechnological Engineering degree, a first of its kind in Canada. Students enrolled in this program receive both Chemical Engineering and Biology courses. The program focuses mainly on Bioprocess Engineering (cell culture, purification, design, etc.). The teaching language is French.

CFAK-FM is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting at 88.3 FM in Sherbrooke, Quebec. It is the campus radio station of the Université de Sherbrooke. Owned by Comité de la radio étudiante universitaire de Sherbrooke (CREUS), the station received CRTC approval on March 7, 2003.

Université de Sherbrooke Stadium (Stade de l'Université de Sherbrooke) is a multi-purpose stadium at the Université de Sherbrooke in Sherbrooke, Quebec. It is home to the Sherbrooke Vert et Or track and field, soccer, and football teams. It was built in 2003, and has a fixed seating capacity of 3,359. The stadium hosted the 2003 World Youth Championships in Athletics.

Lac des Nations is an artificial lake located in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. It was created during the construction of a hydroelectric dam used to power the old Patton Co factory. Fed by the Magog River, it is at the heart of the Cité des Rivières Project, which aims to promote tourism and the revitalization of Sherbrooke's rivers. Crossed by the Central Maine and Quebec Railway (a piece of the pre-1994 Canadian Pacific line to Saint John, New Brunswick), it is bordered by the vast Parc Jacques-Cartier. Lac des Nations is the location of the Jean Perrault Waterskiing school. Surrounding the Lac des Nations is a promenade. Attractions along the path include the a water fountain, the Halte des Nations, and the Marché de la Gare public market. The Orford Express tourist train stopped near the Marché de la Gare.The annual Fête du Lac des Nations is located in Parc Jacques-Cartier along the lake. Thousands of people attend and dance around a fire with necklaces around their necks.

Elmwood Cemetery is a historic cemetery located in the Old North district of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada. Established in 1890, it is recognized for its English garden–style design and as the burial site of numerous figures significant to the political, industrial, and cultural history of the Eastern Townships. The cemetery contains approximately 7,200 gravestones distributed across its hillside grounds.

Mont Bellevue (French: [mɔ̃ bɛlvy]) is a peak standing 333 m (1,093 ft), situated in Mont-Bellevue Park located in the borough of Mont-Bellevue in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The park also covers Mont Bellevue's parent peak, Mont John-S.-Bourque (elevation: 365 m (1,198 ft)), as well as 200 ha (490 acres) of land, 30 km (19 mi) of trails, and several different types of ecosystems. Claiming 20% of the total park land, it is the largest park in Sherbrooke.

CFGE-FM is a French-language Canadian radio station located in Sherbrooke, Quebec. The station airs an adult contemporary format, and is part of the Rythme FM network which operates across much of Quebec. The station's transmitter is located at Mount Bellevue. Owned and operated by Cogeco, it broadcasts on 93.7 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 7,412 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 25,500 watts (class B). Since its transmitter site is located at Mount Bellevue, the station has (unlike competitors CITE-FM-1 and CIMO-FM) good coverage in the city of Sherbrooke, but because of severe deficiencies in covering neighbouring Magog, the station operates a relay there, CFGE-FM-1, which broadcasts on 98.1 MHz using a directional antenna with an average effective radiated power of 360 watts and a peak effective radiated power of 900 watts (class B). The station received CRTC approval in 2003.On August 28, 2009, CFGE-FM received CRTC approval to increase their effective radiated power (ERP) to 7,412 watts, its maximum ERP to 25,550 watts), increasing its effective HAAT from 158.9 to 207.1 metres, and by relocating its transmitter.
