Springfield High School (SHS) is a public high school in the town of Springfield in southern Vermont, United States. It is part of the Springfield School District and serves students from Springfield and neighboring Weathersfield. SHS is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.

River Valley Technical Center is a career and technical school in Springfield, Vermont, USA. It offers an education that prepares students to be career- and college-ready. Students learn technical skills in their program areas and employability skills that prepare them for the workplace. Academic skills including mathematics, reading and writing, science and social studies are taught as part of the program area curriculum. Many of the programs offer post-secondary credit, industry-recognized credentials and leadership opportunities. The center enrolls students from Bellows Falls Union High School, Black River High School, Compass School, Green Mountain Union High School, Fall Mountain Regional High School and Springfield High School. It also enrolls homeschooled students, recent high school graduates and students from private schools. Until the 2007-2008 school year, the center was under the jurisdiction of the Springfield School District, until all towns which send students to the center voted to separate from the Springfield School District and fall under the purview of a newly created district.

The Southview Housing Historic District encompasses a collection of World War II-era residences on Stanley Road in Springfield, Vermont. They were built in 1942 to provided housing for workers producing militarily important materials, and have survived with remarkably little alteration since then. They were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007.

The Park Street School is a historic school building at 60 Park Street in Springfield, Vermont.Built in 1895 and enlarged in 1929, it was the town's first high school to be built after the consolidation of district schools began. It served as a high school until 1968. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020. The building now houses a worker training organization and residences.

The Springfield Downtown Historic District encompasses the historic central business district of the town of Springfield, Vermont. Located in a narrow valley on the banks of the Black River, the town's architecture is primarily reflective of its importance as a manufacturing center in the late 19th and early-to-mid 20th centuries, with a cluster of commercial buildings surrounded by residential and industrial areas. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983, and enlarged slightly in 1986.

Trout River Brewing is a brewery that was originally located in Lyndonville, Vermont, US. It began production in July 1996, and closed in November 2014.In November 2014, the brewery was moved to Springfield, Vermont by its current owners. Beer distribution started again in April 2016.

The Hartness House is a historic house at 30 Orchard Street in Springfield, Vermont. Built in 1904, it is one Vermont's relatively small number of high-style Shingle style houses. It was built for James Hartness, owner of a local machine factory and later Governor of Vermont. The house, now a small hotel, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

The Stellafane Observatory is an astronomical observatory in Springfield, Vermont, founded in 1920 by Russell W. Porter. The Pink Clubhouse was built in 1923 at the site by the Springfield Telescope Makers Club. The name Stellafane, suggested by Porter at the club's December 1923 meeting, is derived from the Latin words stella and fanum meaning "Shrine to the Stars", and originally referred specifically to the clubhouse, but has since come to refer to all of the club's land and buildings on the summit of Breezy Hill, west of downtown Springfield. The Stellafane Convention, a gathering of amateur telescope makers and amateur astronomers is the longest running astronomical convention in the United States, having been held nearly every year at the location since 1926. The clubhouse and observatory became listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and became a National Historic Landmark in 1989, in recognition of the club's pioneering role in the popularization of astronomy and the amateur construction of telescopes.

The Gould's Mill Bridge is a historic Baltimore through truss bridge, carrying Paddock Street across the Black River in Springfield, Vermont. The bridge was built by the Boston Bridge Works Company in 1929 after major flooding in 1927, and is one of the state's few examples of a Baltimore truss. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Mount Ephraim is a 1,490-foot (450 m) mountain near Springfield, Vermont, U.S. and the highest land mass in the Precision Valley. It features one of several mysterious stone monuments that appear through the area.
