Ramot, East Jerusalem

Kraft Family Sports Campus is the home stadium of American Football in Israel. They host the Israel national American football team, Israel men's national flag football team and Israel women's national flag football team. They are also the home stadium of the Jerusalem Lions. It is sponsored by the New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The campus covers approximately 25 acres of land. In 2024, the campus included three sports fields, one being the American football field. The campus supports youth programs for baseball and soccer. It also hosts lacrosse competitions. Kraft Family Sports Campus hosted its first international competition in 2019. The International Federation of American Football game was part of the European competition for the year. They were selected to host the IFAF Flag Football World Championship in 2021. Prior to the opening of the campus in 2017, the Kraft Family Stadium was the only football stadium. It was not regulation size, being only 80 yards long and too narrow.

Ramot Mall (Hebrew: קניון רמות, Kenyon Ramot) is an indoor/outdoor shopping mall in Ramot, a neighborhood or Israeli settlement in northwest East Jerusalem. Opened in September 2011, it is the second-largest shopping center in Jerusalem (after Malha Mall).

Highway 50 (formerly Route 404), officially called Begin Boulevard (Hebrew: שדרות בגין, Sderot Begin) and also referred to as Menachem Begin Expressway or Begin Highway, is a north-south urban freeway, through western Jerusalem, named after Israel's sixth Prime Minister, Menachem Begin. Local Jerusalemites simply refer to it as 'Begin' (Hebrew pronunciation: [ˈbegin]). It enters Area C of the West Bank on the north end and East Jerusalem on both ends.

Yeshivat Ohr David (or Yeshivat Or David, lit. Light of David Yeshiva) is a Jewish seminary and institute of higher learning located in Jerusalem. Ohr David is currently located in Ramot. Throughout the year, students take trips throughout Israel and the Israeli-occupied territories, including trips to the Golan Heights and Eilat. The head of the yeshiva is Rabbi Yosef Granofsky and was founded by Rabbi Chaim Flom in 1980.

Ramot Polin (Hebrew: רמות פולין, lit. Poland Heights) is part of the larger neighborhood of Ramot in northwest East Jerusalem. It was constructed by the Kollel Polen (Poland) in stages beginning in 1972, under the auspices of the Office for Building and Habitation, and is populated, as intended, mostly by Haredi Jewish families, including Breslov. The neighborhood contains 720 housing units of varying sizes.

Lakewood East, officially Beth Medrash Govoha of America in Eretz Yisroel (בית מדרש גבוה דאמריקא בארץ ישראל), is a yeshiva in Jerusalem headed by Rabbi Yaakov Eliezer Schwartzman, son of Rabbi Dov Schwartzman and the eldest grandson of Rabbi Aharon Kotler, founder of the Lakewood Yeshiva. It is officially a branch of the American yeshiva.

Har Hotzvim (Hebrew: הר חוצבים, lit. Stonecutter's Mountain), also Campus of Science-Rich Industries (קריית תעשיות עתירות מדע‎, Kiryat Ta'asiyot Atirot Mada) is a high-tech industrial park located in northwest Jerusalem. It is the city's main zone for science-based and technology companies, among them Intel, Teva, NDS (now Cisco), RAD Data, Mobileye, Ophir Optronics, Sandvine, Radware, IDT Global Israel, Medtronic, SATEC, Johnson and Johnson and more. In addition to large companies, the park also hosts about 100 small and medium-sized high-tech companies, as well as a technological incubator. In 2011, Har Hotzvim provided employment for 10,000 people.

Beth Jacob Jerusalem (Hebrew: סמינר בית יעקב למורות, Seminar Bais Yaakov LeMorot), also known as Machon Sarah Schneirer, commonly referred to as BJJ, is a Haredi religious girls seminary located in the Unsdorf neighborhood of Jerusalem. It was founded in the early 1970s by Rebbetzin Bruria David. Approximately 180 girls are educated in this elite institution each year. As of 2014, tuition per student amounted to US$15,500 and room and board is an additional US$4,000.

Kiryat Mattersdorf (Hebrew: קרית מטרסדורף) is a Haredi neighborhood in Jerusalem. It is located on the northern edge of the mountain plateau on which central Jerusalem lies. It is named after Mattersburg (formerly Mattersdorf), a town in Austria with a long Jewish history. It borders Kiryat Itri and Romema. The main thoroughfare is Panim Meirot Street, which segues into Sorotzkin Street at the neighborhood's eastern end. In 2015, Kiryat Mattersdorf had approximately 700 residents.A lesser known name for the neighborhood is Kiryat Sheva Kehillos, in memory of the Siebengemeinden (Seven Communities) of Burgenland which were destroyed in the Holocaust, Mattersdorf being one of them.

The Belz Great Synagogue (Hebrew: בעלזא בית המדרש הגדול, romanized: Belz Beis HaMedrash HaGadol) is an Hasidic Jewish congregation and synagogue, located at 7 Binat Yisas'har Street, in the Kiryat Belz neighborhood of Jerusalem, Israel. Designed by Aaron Ostreicher and completed in 2002, the synagogue was built by the Belz Hasidic community with financial help from its supporters around the world. With capacity for c. 6,000 worshipers, the synagogue is one of the largest synagogues in Israel.

Lifta (Arabic: لفتا; Hebrew: ליפתא) was a Palestinian Arab village on the outskirts of Jerusalem. The village was depopulated during the early part of the 1947–1948 civil war in Mandatory Palestine. In July 2017, Israel declared Lifta (called Mei Neftoach) as a national nature reserve. It has been referred to as the "Palestinian Pompeii".

Torah Ore (Hebrew: ישיבת תורה אור, "Torah is Light") is an American Orthodox post-high-school yeshiva and kollel located in the northern Jerusalem neighborhood of Kiryat Mattersdorf. It was founded in 1960 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York, by Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg. The yeshiva moved to Jerusalem in 1965 and entered its present location in 1971. As of 2013, Torah Ore enrolls approximately 300 undergraduate students and 600 kollel (married) students. It has thousands of alumni, many of whom became prominent rabbis, rosh yeshivas, and lay leaders of Jewish communities around the globe. Scheinberg served as rosh yeshiva of Torah Ore for over 50 years until his death in 2012; he was succeeded by his son, Rabbi Simcha Scheinberg.
