South Weymouth station

United States Coast Guard Buoy Depot, South Weymouth is a United States Coast Guard facility located in Weymouth, Massachusetts. It is located to the southeast of the South Weymouth MBTA station and west of the former Naval Air Station South Weymouth.

The Pond Street School, also known as the Alice E. Fulton School, is a historic former school building at 235 Pond Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The Colonial Revival brick building was constructed in 1928 to a design by architect Howard B. S. Prescott. Originally built in an H shape, the building was extended in 1953 and 1958 to the northeast, and in 1967 with the addition of a gymnasium section to the west. The latter portion was demolished and replaced by a new wing in 2008 during the conversion of the building to a senior living facility. The building served as an elementary school until 1991; it was renamed Alice E. Fulton School, after its first principal, in 1964.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The Shumatuscacant River is an 8.8-mile-long (14.2 km) river running through Abington and Whitman, Massachusetts. It forms part of the Taunton River Watershed. The river arises in a wetland just west of Vineyard Road, Abington, and flows to Poor Meadow Brook in Hanson, which then flows southwest to Robbins Pond. From there, the Satucket River originates in Robbins Pond and meanders west to join the Matfield River in East Bridgewater, thence to the Taunton River. Island Grove Pond formed in the 1700s when a dam was built on the Shumatuscacant River.

The Fogg Building is a historic commercial building at 100–110 Pleasant Street and 6–10 Columbian Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The 3+1⁄2-story masonry building was designed by J. Williams Beal, and built in 1887 for local businessman John Fogg. The Richardsonian Romanesque structure originally housed a performance space and social gathering places in its upper floors; these spaces have been converted to apartments.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The Fogg Library is a historic library building at 1 Columbian Street in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Built in 1897 to a design by Cutting, Carleton & Cutting, the Renaissance Revival stone building serves as a branch of the Weymouth Public Library. It was a gift of local businessman John S. Fogg. It has a steeply pitched gable roof with stepped ends in the Dutch Revival style, and a projecting gable section which houses the entry under a round-arched loggia.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.

The Old South Union Church is a congregational church in Weymouth, Massachusetts. The white clapboarded church is a replica of an 1853–54 building that was destroyed by fire in 1989. The building has a strong Greek Revival, with paneled pilasters on the front facade, but also has Italianate bracketed eaves and dentillated cornice and pediment. The church building was listed the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. The congregation was established in 1721, and is now affiliated with the United Church of Christ. The current senior pastor is the Reverend Jennifer Barrett Siegal.

South Shore Hospital is a 396-bed hospital located in Weymouth, Massachusetts. It is the only community hospital within the state that operates a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. It is also one of three hospitals in Massachusetts with a Level II designation, and the only Level II trauma center that is located south of Boston.

North Abington station is a former railroad station in North Abington, Massachusetts. It is located across from the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Railroad Street, along what is today the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's Plymouth/Kingston Line, and is now home to the Abington Depot restaurant.

Weymouth High School (WHS) is a comprehensive public high school in Weymouth, Massachusetts, United States that serves students in grades nine through twelve. Rockland High School is a historic former high school building located at 349 Union Street in Rockland, Massachusetts. It was built in 1909 and served as the town's second high school until 1928. It was later converted to lower grades and was known as McKinley School. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989. The building is now a community center - housing day care, pre-school and meeting spaces for Girl Scouts. The building housed Rockland's senior center prior to the construction of a new senior center on Plain Street.
