Rockland High School (1909)

The Rockland Memorial Library is the public library of Rockland, Massachusetts. It is located at 382 Union Street, in a Carnegie-funded Classical Revival building, which was built in 1903 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The library features several community oriented activities, such as raffles, book-release parties, and "Art in the Rotunda".

The Rockland Trust Company building is a historic bank building and a branch of the Rockland Trust Company at 288 Union Street in Rockland, Massachusetts. The bank was founded in 1907, and was originally in offices across the street before commission this building in 1917. It is a two-story brick building designed by Boston architect Thomas M. James, a well-known specialist in bank design. A single-story addition was added in 1923, which was raised to two stories in 1947. A three-story addition was added in 1947. The original building and additions are all built of red brick laid in Flemish bond. The main entry is recessed behind a pair of massive columns, which are flanked on the facade by a pair of pilasters, which support an entablature that is topped by a brick parapet and granite balustrade. The bank's corporate headquarters were housed here until 2008. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Grand Army of the Republic Hall is an historic building located at 34 School Street in Rockland, Massachusetts, in the United States. The hall was designed by local builder William Harrison Hebberd, andbuilt in 1899 by members of the GAR as a memorial to the Union Army veterans of the Civil War. It is a somewhat plainly decorated two-story wood-frame building with a hip roof. Its most elaborate exterior feature is the main entry, a porch supported by clusters of narrow columns, and with brackets in its eaves. The interior is more elaborately decorated, and has retained most of its original Queen Anne details.On May 16, 1997, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

The Lower Union Street Historic District is a historic district on Union St. from Water St. to Market St. in Rockland, Massachusetts. It is a predominantly residential area, encompassing an area of well-preserved houses from the late 18th to early 20th centuries. The oldest houses are those of David Lane (64 Union Street) and Deacon Reed (132 Union Street), built in 1816 and c. 1818 respectively. The Reed house is distinctive because of its brick end walls and its excellent example of a Federal style door surround, with sidelight windows and an elliptical fanlight.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The pond is located south of Rockland Center on Route 123, 0.1-mile (0.16 km) west of Route 139. The French Stream flows through the pond. Gideon's Island, named after Gideon Studley, lies in the southern portion of the pond. Thomas V. Mahon Park, a park which is owned by the Town of Rockland and is accessible from Route 123, lies along the southern shore of the pond.

North Abington station is a former railroad station in North Abington, Massachusetts. It is located across from the intersection of Harrison Avenue and Railroad Street, along what is today the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority's Plymouth/Kingston Line, and is now home to the Abington Depot restaurant.

United States Coast Guard Buoy Depot, South Weymouth is a United States Coast Guard facility located in Weymouth, Massachusetts. It is located to the southeast of the South Weymouth MBTA station and west of the former Naval Air Station South Weymouth.

Founded by the ethnic Armenian Zildjian family in the 17th-century Ottoman Empire, the company relocated to the United States in the 20th century. Today, it is the largest cymbal and drumstick maker in the world. The company was founded in Istanbul in 1623 by Avedis Zildjian, an Armenian. Zildjian is now based in Norwell, Massachusetts. Zildjian is the oldest manufacturer of musical instruments in the world as well as one of the oldest continuously operating companies in the world. Zildjian sells cymbals, drumsticks, percussion mallets and other drum accessories under the Zildjian, Vic Firth and Balter Mallet brands.
