Ullet Road Unitarian Church

The Church of St Agnes and St Pancras is in Ullet Road, Toxteth Park, Liverpool, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is an active Anglican church in the diocese of Liverpool, the archdeaconry of Liverpool and the deanery of Toxteth and Wavertree. Pevsner described it as "by far the most beautiful Victorian church of Liverpool...an epitome of Late Victorian nobility in church design".

The Church of St Clare is on the corner of Arundel Avenue and York Avenue in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool, Merseyside, England. It is the only Grade I listed Roman Catholic church in the Archdiocese of Liverpool. Sharples and Pollard consider it to be "one of the most imaginative churches of its date in the country".

St Hilda's Church of England High School is a secondary school with a sixth form, located in Croxteth Drive, Sefton Park, Liverpool, England. As of 2018–19, Year 11 is girls only, but in September 2015 the school began to enrol boys into the lower years after the completion of the new £15 million building. The sixth form has been coeducational for many years.

Smithdown Road is a historic street in Liverpool, England, which now forms part of the A562. The area was previously known as Smithdown (Esmedune or Smeedon in Olde English) and dates back to 1086 when it was listed in the Domesday Book. The causeway that actually became what is now Smithdown Road emerges in documentation around 1775. It is currently the location of Toxteth Park Cemetery, Wavertree Playground and was previously the location of Sefton General Hospital, known as the Smithdown Hospital and before that the Old Workhouse.

Toxteth Park Cemetery is a graveyard on Smithdown Road, Liverpool, United Kingdom. It was opened on Monday 9 June 1856. It was the responsibility of the Toxteth Park Burial Board, which had been established by at least 1855.The opening ceremony was performed by the then Lord Bishop of Chester, and the first interment took place, that of an Elizabeth Watling on 17 June 1856. The cemetery was built with consecrated and unconsecrated areas, and the layout, featuring walks, was by a "Mr Gay of Bradford cemetery".It was taken over by Liverpool Corporation on 1 January 1905.

Sefton Park is a public park in south Liverpool, England. The park is in a district of the same name, located roughly within the historic bounds of the large area of Toxteth Park. Neighbouring districts include modern-day Toxteth, Aigburth, Mossley Hill, Wavertree and St Michael's Hamlet. The park is 235 acres (0.95 km2) in area and is designated by English Heritage at Grade I in the Register of Historic Parks and Gardens.

The 2008 Women's European Union Amateur Boxing Championships were held in the Greenbank Sports Academy in Liverpool, England from August 4 to 8. This was the 3rd edition of this annual competition, and was organised by the European governing body for amateur boxing, EABA. 80 fighters representing 17 federations competed in 13 weight divisions. Turkey returned to top spot on the medals table with 4 gold and 4 bronze medals. Host country England won her first gold medals in these competitions, as did Ireland in the person of 60 kg World Champion Katie Taylor.

Greenbank Drive Synagogue is a Grade II* listed building and former synagogue in the Sefton Park area of Liverpool, England. Constructed for the local Jewish congregation in 1937, the building has been described as the most important 20th-century synagogue in England in terms of architecture, as well as the finest surviving architectural example of a synagogue from the interwar period.

Sefton Park is a district within the city of Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom. The area is part of the Liverpool City Council Ward of Mossley Hill. The district surrounds the park from which it takes its name, i.e. Sefton Park. The original urbanisation of the area was mainly in the Victorian era, with large Victorian villas, particularly facing the park itself, and terraces and apartment blocks on nearby streets. In the 1820s, some wealthy members of the Chian diaspora settled here.Lark Lane is lined with pubs, restaurants and specialist shops. There was a railway station called Sefton Park, a short distance away and confusingly facing a different park (Wavertree), but it closed in 1960. The line is still in use, and the station buildings at street level survive in the form of commercial premises. Little evidence of the station is visible at track level, above the road. The nearest railway stations still operating are St Michaels railway station and Mossley Hill railway station.

Wavertree is a district of Liverpool, England. It is a ward of Liverpool City Council, and its population at the 2011 census was 14,772. Located to the south and east of the city centre, it is bordered by various districts and suburbs such as Childwall, Edge Hill, Fairfield, Mossley Hill, Old Swan, and Toxteth.
