Richmond Town, is a neighbourhood located in the central part of the city of Bangalore. Richmond Town is named after Thomas Richmond, a barrister in the British India government. "He was an Anglo-Indian philanthropist and the president of the All India Anglo-Indian Association.A part of the Bangalore Cantonment area, Richmond Town was established during British rule in 1883. During the period, the area mainly consisted of British residents, Anglo Indians, Muslim traders from Persia and Parsis. Like Kadamba Nagara, Sri Krishnaraja Wadiyar Nagara and Langford Town, this area was known for its colonial design.In recent years, the locality has seen modernization and increase in real estate demand. Important landmarks in Richmond Town include Bangalore Hockey Stadium and Johnson Market.

Bangalore Hockey Stadium, also known as KSHA Hockey Stadium, is a field hockey stadium at Akkithimmanahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is the home of the Karnataka Lions of the World Series Hockey. It has a seating capacity of 7,000 people. The stadium hosted seven home matches of Karnataka Lions in World Series Hockey. It will also host the first semi-final of World Series Hockey in 2012.

National Military School is an upcoming underground metro station on the North-South corridor of the Pink Line of Namma Metro in Bangalore, India. Rashtriya Military School Bangalore (Rashtriya Military School Bangalore or King George Royal Indian Military College) is a military boarding school in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. As per the latest updates, this metro station, under the second phase, covering the total underground distance of 13.8 km (Dairy Circle - Nagawara) is expected to be operational around December 2026.

The Bangalore Club, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, is the oldest club in the city. Founded in 1868, it counts among its previous members the Maharajah of Mysore and Winston Churchill. A ledger on display in the main building of the club is open to a page that has a list of "irrecoverable debts" that were written off by the club. One of these is the sum Rs.13, owed by Winston Churchill.Membership at present for the category of new permanent members is closed, but last when open, had a waiting list of over 30 years.

Bishop Cotton Boys' School is an all-boys school for boarders and day scholars in Bangalore, India, founded in the memory of Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton, Bishop of Calcutta.
