St. Joseph's College of Commerce

St. Joseph's College is a private, Jesuit, higher educational institution run by the Karnataka Province of the Society of Jesus in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is one of the oldest colleges in the state of Karnataka with a history of 140 years. It has been conferred with the award College of Excellence by the University Grants Commission (India). The college was awarded a rating of A++ (3.79/4), in the 4th cycle of re-accreditation by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2017. It offers graduate, post-graduate and research education. St. Joseph's College has around 300 teaching and non-teaching staff and more than 5500 students. St. Joseph’s College is located at Langford Road near Richmond Circle, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Bangalore Hockey Stadium, also known as KSHA Hockey Stadium, is a field hockey stadium at Akkithimmanahalli, Bangalore, Karnataka, India. It is the home of the Karnataka Lions of the World Series Hockey. It has a seating capacity of 7,000 people. The stadium hosted seven home matches of Karnataka Lions in World Series Hockey. It will also host the first semi-final of World Series Hockey in 2012.

The Bangalore Club, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, is the oldest club in the city. Founded in 1868, it counts among its previous members the Maharajah of Mysore and Winston Churchill. A ledger on display in the main building of the club is open to a page that has a list of "irrecoverable debts" that were written off by the club. One of these is the sum Rs.13, owed by Winston Churchill.Membership at present for the category of new permanent members is closed, but last when open, had a waiting list of over 30 years.

Bishop Cotton Boys' School is an all-boys school for boarders and day scholars in Bangalore, India, founded in the memory of Bishop George Edward Lynch Cotton, Bishop of Calcutta. Richmond Town Methodist Church (RTMC) is the first Methodist Church to be established in Bangalore in India. The church was started in 1875 by William Taylor on Kingston Road in what is now called Richmond Town. The many Methodist churches in Bangalore all originated from the Richmond Town Methodist Church.
