Swayzee is a town in Sims Township, Grant County, Indiana, United States. The population was 918 at the 2020 census. On its welcome sign, Swayzee claims to be "the only Swayzee in the world." This motto is based on a story about a postcard sent by a serviceman overseas during World War II, which although being addressed only to "Swayzee", with no mention of Indiana or any other information, was still said to have been successfully delivered.

Oak Hill High School is a high school located outside of Converse, Indiana, United States. The School was founded in 1959, combining nearby high schools Sweetser, Swayzee, and Converse. Currently, there are three elementary schools in the school district, located in these towns. The junior high is connected to the high school.

Weaver is an unincorporated community in Liberty Township, Grant County, Indiana. Weaver's first settlers were free people of color who migrated from North Carolina and South Carolina to Grant County in the early 1840s. The neighborhood was originally known as Crossroad; however, it was later renamed Weaver in honor of a prominent family of the community. The rural settlement reached its peak in the late 1800s, when its population reportedly reached 2,000. Many of its residents left the community for higher-paying jobs in larger towns during the Indiana's natural gas boom, but more than 100 families remained in the settlement in the early 1920s. Weaver, as with most of Indiana's black rural settlements, no longer exists as a self-contained community, but Weaver Cemetery remains as a community landmark.

Richland Township is one of 13 townships in Grant County, Indiana, United States. As of the 2010 census, its population was 966 and it contained 431 housing units.

The Cardinal Greenway (TGC) is a multi-use recreational network combining a rail trail and an on-street route that together cross 62 miles (100 km) and five counties — in east central Indiana. The greenway, which was designated a National Recreation Trail in June 2003 and in 2018 was named to the Rails-to-Trails Conservancy's "Rail Trail Hall of Fame." uses the former CSX railroad track between Richmond and Marion. It is named after the Cardinal, the last regular passenger train service on the (Chicago-Cincinnati-Washington) route. Currently it is Indiana's longest rail trail project.The route, which is dedicated to pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian users, has nine bridges and passes the historic Wysor Street Depot. It also follows the White, Whitewater and Mississinewa Rivers. Marked in half-mile increments, the TGC has more than 20 trail heads, most with restrooms, parking areas, and interpretive markers. The system hosts annual events including the National Trails Day (June/Running), Cardinal Greenways Bike Fest (July/biking), Walk Indiana (September/walking), and BikeTOURberfest (October/bicycle).The Cardinal Greenway is part of the Northern Route of the American Discovery Trail. and connects to the White River Greenway near downtown Muncie. A current expansion is underway to construct the White River Greenway trail in downtown Muncie. In Richmond, the trail connects to the Whitewater Gorge Trail and Gennett Walk of Fame in the Whitewater Gorge Park.

Converse, also known as the Pennsylvania RR Depot, is a historic train station located at Converse, Indiana. It was built in 1912, as a 1+1⁄2-story, brick building in the Bungalow / American Craftsman style. It is surrounded by a deep pent roof canopy on three sides. Above the pent roof canopy is a broad stuccoed gable. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad and remained in use into the 1950s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995 as the Converse Depot.
