Northshore Academy Upper School is a public alternative high school in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States, serving students in grades 7–12.

The William Livermore House is a historic First Period house in Beverly, Massachusetts. It is a 2.5-story five-bay colonial wood-frame house that was built in stages. The oldest part of the house, the right front, was built c. 1700, along with the chimney. The left side was added early in the Second Period, and a major addition was made to the rear, adding another row of rooms and a new roof. As a result, the chimney, which normally protrudes through the ridge of the roof in First Period houses, instead protrudes through the front of the roof.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Montserrat station is an MBTA Commuter Rail Newburyport/Rockport Line station located in Beverly, Massachusetts. Located between Spring Street and Essex Street (MA-22), it serves the eastern part of Beverly and as a park-and-ride station for the North Shore, with easy access from Route 128. Montserrat station has mini-high platforms serving each track, making it accessible. The station originally opened in 1874. The ticket office in the station building closed on February 22, 1952. The station building was demolished by 1977.

Beverly High School is one of two four-year public high schools in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States, the other being the smaller Northshore Academy. It has an enrollment of approximately 1,300 students and is accredited by the Massachusetts Department of Education and by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. The staff consists of a Principal, three assistant principals, an Athletic Director, six Guidance Counselors and about a hundred teachers including six department heads. The school mascot is the Beverly High Panthers.

North Beverly station is an MBTA Commuter Rail station in Beverly, Massachusetts. Located in North Beverly, it serves the Newburyport/Rockport Line. The station has two low side platforms serving the line's two tracks, with mini-high platforms to provide accessibility. The station originally opened by the mid-1850s. The station building was converted to a hamburger stand by 1968, but later demolished. As of May 2021, improvements to the accessible mini-high platforms are in design.

Shore Country Day School is an independent elementary and middle school, founded in 1936 following the tenets of the Country Day School movement. The private school educates students in grade levels ranging from a Pre-Kindergarten program through to Grade 9. It is accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England (AISNE) with the most recent accreditation review in 2008. Enrollment averages 435 to 450 students annually. The school is located on a 17 acre campus in Beverly, Massachusetts with athletic fields, two gyms, a library resource center, and five school buildings.

The Peter Woodbury House (or Woodberry) is a historic First Period house in Beverly, Massachusetts. It is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, with a side-gable roof, large central chimney, and clapboard siding. Like most surviving First Period houses, this one was built in stages. The earliest part, dating to c. 1696, was the right front section and chimney. The left side was built in the 18th century, as was the rear leanto, which was later raised to a full second story.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The John Balch House, located at 448 Cabot Street, Beverly, Massachusetts, is one of the oldest wood-frame houses in the United States. It is now operated as one of the historic house museums of Historic Beverly, and open seasonally.

Beverly is a city in Essex County, Massachusetts, and a suburb of Boston. The population was 42,670 at the time of the 2020 United States Census. A resort, residential, and manufacturing community on the Massachusetts North Shore, Beverly includes Ryal Side, North Beverly, Montserrat, Beverly Farms and Prides Crossing. Beverly is a rival of Marblehead for the title of being the "birthplace of the U.S. Navy".

The Hazadiah Smith House is a historic First Period house in Beverly, Massachusetts. The 2.5-story wood-frame house was built c. 1686, probably by Hazadiah Smith, whose profession is frequently listed in contemporary records as a builder or housewright. It is possible that he was responsible for a number of surviving First Period houses that survive in Beverly. This particular house, which he is believed to have lived in, was built with a two cell center chimney plan, and then extended to the rear at a later date, replacing the roof and leaving the chimney protruding from the front roof slope.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Beverly Powder House is a historic military storage magazine on Powder House Lane in Beverly, Massachusetts. Built in 1809, this small brick building housed the community's military supplies during the War of 1812, and is one of a few such structures to survive in the state. It is the town's only surviving Federal-period municipal structure. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Beverly Cotton Manufactory was the first cotton mill built in America, and the largest cotton mill to be built during its era. It was built hoping for economic success, but reached a downturn due to technical limitations of the then early production process and limitations of the machines being used. Being the birthplace and testing grounds of the cotton milling industry at the time, it has been called the birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution.
