Mount Boucherie Senior Secondary School is a public high school in West Kelowna, British Columbia, part of School District No. 23 (Central Okanagan). Its mascot is the Grizzly bear.

Royal LePage Place, is a 1500-seat multi-purpose arena in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It was completed in 2007. Royal LePage Place is the home of the West Kelowna Warriors ice hockey team. It has a maximum capacity of 1520 plus standing room. The building is a low carbon emitter. Constructed with a heat recovery unit that captures heat from the ice plant. The heat is then stored under the building in underground wells. The heat is then used to heat the building.It is located at the foot of Mount Boucherie, next to Jim Lind Arena, Mount Boucherie Secondary School and the City of West Kelowna offices in the Mt. Boucherie Community Centre. Royal LePage Place will also be used for many other events including concerts, trade shows, and various community gatherings. Royal LePage Place was used as a muster point during the 2009 Glenrosa Forest Fire and 2023 McDougall Creek Fire.

Mount Boucherie is a mountain located in West Kelowna on the west shore of Okanagan Lake, British Columbia, Canada, opposite the city of Kelowna. It is the remnants of a former stratovolcano created nearly 60 million years ago. Between four and six different glacial periods over the past 50 million years have eroded the volcano to produce Mount Boucherie. Though it now only rises 417 metres above the nearby lake level, it is estimated to once have had an elevation of 2,000 m (6,562 ft) or more.

Tsinstikeptum 9, usually referred to as Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 9, is one of two Indian Reserves of the Westbank First Nation located adjacent to West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It and Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 10 are jointly normally referred to as the Westbank Indian Reserve. Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 9 is located six miles southwest of Kelowna proper, adjacent to McDougall Creek. The reserve is 641.80 ha in area. The southernmost portion of the reserve lies on the shores of Okanagan Lake.

Lakeview Heights is a community within the City of West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. Lakeview Heights is on the west side of Okanagan Lake, across the lake from Kelowna. Lakeview Heights is east of Mount Boucherie and south of Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 10. Residents representation is through the Lakeview Heights Community Association, a resident/member operated grassroots non-profit Special Interest Group. Member volunteers monitor and lobby government and are participants in local Public Advisory Councils and Committees. Many members volunteer their time and attend Community Open Houses, Government Information events, Community Issue Forums, and many participate and represent the LHCA on Public Advisory Committees. Lakeview Heights is home to orchards, riding stables, vineyards and wineries. Lakeview Heights has a standalone Lakeview Heights Community Hall, and a small shopping centre often referred to as the Anders Store due to its location. There are sports fields, tennis courts, parks and access to Okanagan Lake. Lakeview Heights is known for the panoramic views of surrounding areas and communities. Lakeview Heights with the many views of Okanagan Lake is often used by tourists to monitor and report on the travels of Ogopogo, a mythical inland sea monster. Tsinstikeptum 10, usually referred to as Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 10, is one of two Indian Reserves of the Westbank First Nation located in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. It and Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 9 are jointly normally referred to as the Westbank Indian Reserve. Tsinstikeptum Indian Reserve No. 10, which is 339 ha. in area, is located opposite the City of Kelowna proper, across Okanagan Lake.

Westbank is one of the communities within the City of West Kelowna in the province of British Columbia. It is 12 km to the west of Kelowna. Other communities in West Kelowna include Casa Loma, West Kelowna Estates, Shannon Lake, Smith Creek, Glenrosa, Rose Valley and Lakeview Heights. Westbank sits to the south of West Kelowna. Westbank was for many years an unincorporated area within the Central Okanagan Regional District. In December 2007, following a governance referendum, it became a neighbourhood within what is now the City of West Kelowna. It has no legal borders since it is a neighbourhood and opinions vary as to exactly where Westbank begins and ends. As of January 2020, the City of West Kelowna has a total population of about 35,818.A post office was opened in 1902 and was named for its location on Okanagan Lake. The name was suggested by John Davidson who arrived in the district in 1892.: 292 Self-Government municipal regulatory powers have been given by treaty to the Westbank First Nation (WFN). Westbank First Nation spans 5,340 acres of Reservation land, separated into five land parcels.
