Sanctuary of Our Lady of Sameiro

Espinho is a Portuguese freguesia ("civil parish"), located in the municipality of Braga. The population in 2011 was 1,181, in an area of 4.48 km². The Sameiro Sanctuary is situated in Espinho.

The Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte is a Portuguese Catholic shrine in Tenões, outside the city of Braga, in northern Portugal. Its name means Good Jesus of the Mount. This sanctuary is a notable example of Christian pilgrimage site with a monumental, Baroque stairway that climbs 116 meters (381 feet). It is an important tourist attraction of Braga. On 7 July 2019, the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte in Braga was inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Nogueiró e Tenões is a civil parish in the municipality of Braga, in the Portuguese district of the same name. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes Nogueiró and Tenões. The population in 2011 was 5,129, in an area of 4.43 km².

Este (São Pedro e São Mamede) is a civil parish in the municipality of Braga, Portugal. It was formed in 2013 by the merger of the former parishes São Pedro and São Mamede. The population in 2011 was 3,837, in an area of 9.79 km². In São Mamede is located the Chamor Hill.

Falperra Church or the Church of Santa Maria Madalena (Portuguese: Igreja da Falperra, Igreja de Santa Maria Madalena) is a Baroque church located in the (serra da Falperra) Falperra mountains, outside of Braga, Portugal.

The Fountain of the Iron Waters (Portuguese: Fonte das Águas Ferreas), is a Baroque fountain in the civil parish of Fraião, municipality of Braga. The fountain, with ornate backrest, is located in an L-shaped courtyard, with a zoomorphic spout, niche and contorted frame. The design integrates details approximating decorative elements used by André Soares, most notably the Municipal Hall and Church of the Congregados, highlighting the abilities of master-mason Paulo Vidal. However, this project was actually designed by Carlos Amarante, at the beginning of his career, having been appointed the inspector of public works in 1773.

Gualtar is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Braga. The population in 2011 was 5,286, in an area of 2.74 km2 (1.06 sq mi).

International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL), in Braga, Portugal, a fully international research organization in Europe in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology. INL is the result of a joint decision of the Governments of Portugal and Spain, taken on November 19, 2005, at the XXI Portugal–Spain Summit, in Évora. In this summit it was decided that the institute would be located in Braga, Portugal and its first director would be a Spanish researcher (Professor José Rivas of the University of Santiago de Compostela, nominated on the occasion by the President of the Government of Spain) INL provides a research environment promoting an interdisciplinary effort in addressing the major challenges in the emerging areas of Nanobiotechnology, Nanoelectronics, Nanomedicine and Materials Science at Nanoscale. The key research activities are based on existing areas in Portugal and Spain, as well as on new strategic development areas where researchers will be hired. The Laboratory is planned for 440 scientists, students, and supporting technical and administrative staff. INL works with international research centres, local and global industry and universities.

Chamor Hill is a hill located in São Mamede de Este, Braga, Portugal. On the top of the hill, there is a monument to the Sacred Heart erected in 1957 with 20 meters high. The marble statue of Christ holds on the right hand the Chalice and the left hand is pointing to his hearth.
