The Ives-Baldwin House is a historic house at 474 Baldwin Avenue in Meriden, Connecticut. Built about 1798, it is a well-preserved example of a late 18th-century farmhouse, a rare property type in the now largely industrial town. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Lamentation Mountain, or Mount Lamentation, 720 feet (220 m), is a traprock mountain located 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north of Meriden, Connecticut. It is part of the narrow, linear Metacomet Ridge that extends from Long Island Sound near New Haven, Connecticut, north through the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts to the Vermont border. Lamentation Mountain is known for its scenic vistas, extensive cliff faces, unique microclimate ecosystems, and rare plant communities. It rises steeply 550 feet (170 m) above the city of Meriden to the south with west-facing cliffs of 200 feet (61 m) or more. The cliff line, described by the Connecticut Forest and Park Association as "perhaps the most scenic traprock ridge walk in the state" is a prominent landscape feature visible for miles. The mountain is traversed by the 50-mile (80 km) Mattabesett Trail.

Lamentation Mountain State Park is an undeveloped public recreation area covering 47 acres (19 ha) in the town of Berlin, Connecticut. It entered the roll of state parks in the 1936 edition of the Connecticut Register and Manual. The state park extends for about 0.4 miles (0.64 km) from the Berlin Turnpike up the western flank of Lamentation Mountain to the ridgeline near the Mattabesett Trail. The park offers hiking and scenic vistas.

The Highland Historic District is a U.S. historic district in Middletown, Connecticut. Centered at the junction of Atkins Street and Country Club Road, the district encompasses a collection of well-preserved 18th and 19th-century architecture, including some of Middletown's oldest surviving buildings. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The project provided a renovated-as-new facility at Maloney that measures approximately 260,000 square feet and included a fully renovated pool, auditorium and a brand new wing. The work on the massive project completed in late 2016.

It is part of the narrow, linear Metacomet Ridge that extends from Long Island Sound near New Haven, Connecticut, north through the Connecticut River Valley of Massachusetts to the Vermont border. Higby Mountain is known for its high cliff faces, unique microclimate ecosystems, and rare plant communities. It rises steeply 600 feet (180 m) above the Quinnipiac River valley and the city of Meriden to the west as a continuous 2-mile (3 km) long ledge. The mountain is traversed by the 50-mile (80 km) Mattabesett Trail.

The Meriden Curtain Fixture Company Factory is a historic factory complex at 122 Charles Street in Meriden, Connecticut. Built in 1892 for a company founded in 1869, it is a good example of late-19th century industrial architecture, and is notable for its association with Charles Parker, one of the city's leading industrialists of the period. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. The complex has been converted to residential use.
