Le Juch (French pronunciation: [lə ʒyk]; Breton: Ar Yeuc'h) is a commune in the Finistère department and administrative region of Brittany in north-western France.

Douarnenez (Breton pronunciation: [duarˈnẽːnɛs], French: [dwaʁnəne]; meaning douar (land) an enez (the island) or land of the island), is a commune in the French department of Finistère, region of Brittany, northwestern France. It is located at the mouth of the Pouldavid River, an estuary on the southern shore of Douarnenez Bay in the Atlantic Ocean, 25 kilometres (16 mi) north-west of Quimper. The population in 2008 was 15,066. It has declined since the mid-20th century because of jobs lost from declines in the fishing industry. But it still has fish canning facilities (sardines and mackerel) although sardine fishing, for which the town became famous, has fallen off in recent years. Douarnenez has a growing tourist industry, with numerous visitors attracted annually to its pleasant location and warm climate, and also because of its marinas, maritime museum, regattas and sandy beaches. The island of Tristan off Douarnenez can be reached by foot at low tide. It is linked to the legend of Tristan and Iseult from the times of King Arthur.

Plonévez-Porzay (French pronunciation: [plɔneve pɔʁzɛ]; Breton: Plonevez-Porzhe) is a commune in the Finistère department of Brittany in north-western France.

The enclos paroissial or Parish close of Locronan comprises the parish church with adjoining chapel and a calvary. The article will also cover the nearby chapelle Notre-Dame-de-Bonne-Nouvelle. Locronan is a member of the Les Plus Beaux Villages de France ("The most beautiful villages of France") association. The village's name means the "hermitage of Ronan", from the Breton lok which means hermitage, and after the founder Saint Ronan. It has previously been known as Saint-René-du-Bois. Saint Ronan is greatly venerated in Brittany. He was an Irish Christian missionary of the 6th century who came to the region to teach Christianity. As a consequence of Saint Ronan's close association with Locronan some of his relics are kept in the parish church. Locronan is located in the Châteaulin arrondissement of Finistère.
