St. Pauls House is a historic building situated in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was built in 1878 as a warehouse and cloth cutting works for Sir John Barran, 1st Baronet.

Park Square is a Georgian public square in central Leeds, West Yorkshire. The square is grassed over and is a traditional Georgian park. The square is in Leeds' financial quarter and is surrounded by Georgian buildings, which are occupied as offices, many by barristers and solicitors.

The Leeds dripping riot was an act of civil disorder that occurred in Leeds, England on 22 February 1865. The riot was a response to the imprisonment of a local woman for the theft of dripping. During the riot one person was seriously injured and subsequently died while five people were arrested and charged with riotous conduct.

The School of Medicine is the medical school of the University of Leeds, in the city of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The School of Medicine was founded in 1831. The School of Medicine now forms part of the University's Faculty of Medicine and Health. The School is composed of institutes located at multiple sites in West Yorkshire including the Worsley Building, LIGHT, St James's Campus, and Chapel Allerton Hospital. The School of Medicine is primarily linked with two major hospitals for clinical teaching: the Leeds General Infirmary and St James's University Hospital, both run by the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, alongside smaller district NHS Trusts.

St George's Church, Leeds is a Church of England parish church based in the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The church building is near to Leeds General Infirmary. Although based in the city centre, the congregation is drawn from all parts of the city, including a large student congregation. The current staff team includes the rector Lizzy Woolf, associate rectors Eve Ridgeway and Adrian Smith, curate Julia Wilkins, and John Walker. Jon Swales leads the Lighthouse community.

The Leeds Inner Ring Road is part-motorway and part-A roads in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, which forms a ring road around the city centre. It has six different road numbers that are all sections of longer roads. Clockwise, the roads are the A58(M), a motorway section of the A58 road; the A64(M), part of the A64 road; the A61 between York Road and the M621; the M621 between junctions 4 and 2; and the A643 between the M621 and A58. The motorway section is in total is 2.5 miles (4.0 km) long and is subject to a 40 miles per hour (64 km/h) speed limit throughout.

The Leeds International Pool often referred to as the Leeds International Baths, was a swimming facility in Leeds city centre, West Yorkshire, England. The pool was situated at the lower end of Westgate and was notable for its brutalist architecture. The pool was constructed in the 1960s and designed by architect John Poulson.The facility closed in October 2007 and was jointly replaced by the Aquatics Centre at the John Charles Centre for Sport (former South Leeds Stadium) in the south of the city and partly by 'The Edge' sports centre at the University of Leeds which has periods open to non-university members. The building stood unused until late 2009, when demolition commenced. In the interim it was subject to vandalism.

The 4th White Cloth Hall was a market for the sale of undyed cloth on King Street in Leeds city centre in England. A blue plaque for the building can be found on the nearby Quebec Street. The 4th White Cloth hall was built in 1868 by the North Eastern Railway company to replace the 3rd White Cloth Hall that they had had to partly demolish in 1865 to build the impressive North Eastern Viaduct to access the New Station.The building did not last long, due to the decline in cloth manufacturing in Yorkshire. It was never fully used, and was demolished in 1895. Today the site is occupied by the Hotel Metropole. Like the 2nd White Cloth Hall only the cupola survives, incorporated onto the hotel roof.

The Met Hotel is a Grade II listed building situated on King Street in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Designed by Leeds-based architects Harry Sutton Chorley and J.W. Connon, the hotel opened in 1899 as the Hotel Metropole. The Principal Hayley Group renovated the hotel in 2005, at a cost of £6 million, and changed the name to the trendier sounding 'The Met'. It has four stars and it has 120 rooms. The Hotel Metropole is a listed building, principally because of its rare and remarkable Victorian terracotta facade. The cupola on the roof was taken from the demolished 4th White Cloth Hall, built in 1868 on the same site.

West Point, formerly known as Royal Mail House, is a 65 metres (213 ft) tall 17-floor residential tower block located at number 29 of Wellington Street in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. It was conceived as a landmark building in the skyline and a key gateway building to the city, and the start of redevelopment of the west part of the city.

The Well (formerly known as Joseph's Well) was a well-known music venue in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Bands such as The Idlers, Caliban, The Chariot, The Killers, Editors, We Are Scientists, Bloc Party, Shame About Hayley, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Isis, …And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, The Distillers, Dugong, Against Me!, Strike Anywhere, Fun and Chimaira played there over the years.
