Harper's Grove – Lord's Grove is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), noted for its biological characteristics, in Monmouthshire, south east Wales.

Fiddler's Elbow National Nature Reserve is a steep sided, woodland national nature reserve of 45 hectares in the Upper Wye Valley to the north of Monmouth in Wales, close to the Wales–England border. Wyesham Halt was a request stop at Wyesham on the former Wye Valley Railway, it was also used by the Coleford Railway. It was opened on 12 January 1931 and closed in January 1959. The railway between Wyesham Halt and Monmouth Troy was originally built by the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway in 1861.

Newton Court is a neoclassical house, completed in 1802, situated on the hillside above Dixton, 1 mi (1.6 km) north-east of the town on Monmouth, in Monmouthshire, Wales. It is a Grade II* listed building. The stable block is listed as a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), noted for as a breeding site for lesser horseshoe bats.

The Mayhill Hotel is a public house and hotel located Wyesham Road, Monmouth, Wales. The pub is situated between the roads leading to Wyesham and the Forest of Dean and as such claims it is the Last Pub in Wales.

Penallt Old Church is located just outside the village of Penallt, Monmouthshire, Wales. It is a Grade I listed building as of 19 November 1953.

The River Trothy (Welsh: Afon Troddi) is a river which flows through north Monmouthshire, in rural south east Wales. It is a tributary of the River Wye.The river rises on Campston Hill, northeast of Abergavenny. It flows southwards until Llanvapley, where it turns east. About 1⁄3 mile (0.54 km) south of Monmouth the river joins the confluence of the River Wye and the River Monnow.

Monmouth Gasworks was the facility for making town gas in Monmouth, Wales. The gasworks had its coal delivered by the Coleford, Monmouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway and was frequented by Charles Rolls to fill up his balloon.
