WCVC is a radio station broadcasting on 1330 kilohertz in Tallahassee, Florida. WCVC is owned and operated by Guadalupe Radio Network of Midland Texas, and broadcasts a Catholic talk format from EWTN. It was a Christian-formatted station, then changed its format in April 2001 to a talk radio station, with callers and hosts discussing news and events of national and local interest. The station changed its format again, to EWTN, in August 2005.

Escambe (also known as San Cosme y San Damián de Cupaica, San Damián de Cupaica, San Cosmo y San Damías de Escambe, or San Damián de Cupahica) was a Spanish Franciscan mission built in the 17th century in the Florida Panhandle, three miles northwest of the present-day town of Tallahassee, Florida. It was part of Spain's effort to colonize the region, and convert the Timucuan and Apalachee Indians to Christianity. The mission lasted until 1704, when it was destroyed by a group of Creek Indians and South Carolinians. The site where the original mission stood was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1971. San Damián de Cupaica was founded in 1639, the third Spanish mission in Apalachee Province. San Damián survived James Moore's invasion of Apalachee Province in January 1704, but was captured by Creek warriors in June 1704. When the Spanish abandoned their headquarters in San Luis de Talimali later that year, leaving all of the Apalachee Province unprotected, residents of Cupaica joined other Apalachees, Chactatos and Yemassees in migrating to the area of Pensacola, Florida.A later mission named San Joseph de Escambe was established in 1741 at the present-day community of Molino, Florida along the Escambia River north of Pensacola, lending its name both to the river and later to Escambia County, Florida.

North Florida Christian School (NFCS) is a private Christian school in Tallahassee, Florida, originally founded as a segregation academy. The school is administered by North Florida Baptist Church, formerly known as Temple Baptist Church.

The Greenwood Cemetery (est. 1937) is a historic cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. An African-American cemetery, Greenwood is located on Old Bainbridge Road, which originally the main route out of Tallahassee to the northwest. On June 5, 2003, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Professional football player Willie Galimore is buried there.Approximately 1,500 memorials are documented at the cemetery.

According to Radio and Records, WWLD is now the highest-rated radio station in the Tallahassee market. Its studios are located in the westside of Tallahassee and its transmitter is based due north of downtown along I-10.

WBZE (98.9 FM, "Star 98.9") is an adult contemporary radio station in the Tallahassee, Florida, market owned by Cumulus Licensing, LLC. Its studios are located on the west side of Tallahassee and its transmitter is based due north of downtown along I-10. According to AllAccess.com, WBZE is the third-highest-rated station in the market, following only sister stations WHBX and WWLD.

Lake Ella is a lake in central Tallahassee, Florida on US 27 just south of Tharpe Street, and just north of Downtown. Lake Ella has an area of 12 acres (49,000 m2) and a perimeter 0.6 miles. Once used for cattle, it now has three fountains and is used for recreation, flood protection, and stormwater pollution control.

The Woman's Club of Tallahassee is a historic woman's club in Tallahassee, Florida. It is located at 1513 Cristobal Drive. On November 18, 1987, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

The Los Robles Gate is a historic site in Tallahassee, Florida. It is located at the intersection of Thomasville and Meridian Roads. On September 21, 1989, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The historic Los Robles subdivision, just east of Lake Ella and adjoining midtown, was developed beginning in the 1920s and began a trend of expansion to the north of downtown. Los Robles is Spanish for "The Oak Trees" named after the centuries-old live oaks throughout the neighborhood.
