Ushite Peak (Bulgarian: Връх Ушите / ‘Ears Peak’) is a peak rising to 1,860 metres (6,100 ft) in northern Vitosha Mountain, Bulgaria. The peak is situated on the northern border of Torfeno Branishte Nature Reserve, and 650 m south of Kamen Del Peak. A small refuge is situated on the northeastern slopes Ushite, off track between Aleko and Zlatnite Mostove, the two most popular tourist sites on Vitosha.

Kominite (Bulgarian: Комините [koˈminitɛ], meaning 'the chimneys') are several minor andesite peaks in the Vitosha Mountains near Sofia, Bulgaria. The peaks are in the upper valley of the Dragalevska River near the Bay Krastyo tourist site. The peaks are the nearest to and most easily accessible from a climbing area near Sofia, with climbing routes of UIAA categories II to VIII and 50 to 100 m (160 to 330 ft) high. The Kominite peaks can be reached easily from Dragalevtsi via the Bay Krastyo or the Goli Vrah chair lift stations.

Dragalevtsi Monastery of the Holy Mother of God of Vitosha (Bulgarian: Драгалевски манастир „Света Богородица Витошка“, Dragalevski manastir „Sveta Bogoroditsa Vitoshka“) is a Bulgarian Orthodox monastery on the lower slopes of Vitosha mountain on the outskirts of the capital Sofia in western Bulgaria. Founded in the mid-14th century by Bulgarian tsar Ivan Alexander, the monastery was abandoned after the Ottoman conquest of Sofia and reestablished in the late 15th century, when it became an important literary centre. The monastery church and some of its frescoes date from this period.

Boyana Lake is an artificial lake in Vitosha mountain near the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. It is located 1.5 km Southeast from Sofia's Boyana neighborhood. Initially the boyana lake was a pond. It was later transformed into a lake with the establishment of the Vitosha aqueduct over Sofia in 1906. In the Vitosha lake you can find true toads from the family Bufonidae, true frogs from the family Ranidae, and Northern crested newts, a type of Salamandridae. The lake has an area of approximately 2000 square meters, and is located at 1027 meters altitude above sea level.

Boyana Waterfall is the largest waterfall in the Bulgarian Vitosha mountain, with a height of 25 meters.

Bistrishko Branishte (Bulgarian: Бистришко бранище) is a nature reserve in the Vitosha Nature Park on Vitosha Mountain in Bulgaria. It was established in 1934, together with Vitosha Nature Park. Since 1977 it has been a biosphere reserve under the Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme of UNESCO. The reserve comprises the eastern slopes of the peaks of Golyam Rezen (2277 m), Malak Rezen (2191 m) and Skoparnik (2226 m), the northern slopes of Golyam Kupen Peak (1930 m), the upper valleys of Vitoshka Bistritsa and Yanchevska rivers. Its surface area is 1061.6 ha, the elevation is between 1430 and 2277 m. Over 50 % of its territory is covered by forest (predominantly spruce), 100 to 120 years old on the average. There are several stone runs in the Subalpine zone, penetrating the forest. The larger animals found in the reserve include deer, boar, wolf, bear. Bistrishko Branishte attracts many tourists from the adjacent Aleko Centre situated off the northwestern border of the reserve. Visitors are not permitted to stray away from the few designated tracks linking the Vitosha's highest peak of Cherni Vrah, Aleko area, Bistritsa village (3 tracks running via Pogledets site and along Bistritsa and Yanchevska rivers), Zheleznitsa village.

Torfeno Branishte (Bulgarian: Торфено бранище / ‘Turf Reserve’) is a nature reserve on Vitosha Mountain in Bulgaria, along with the Bistrishko Branishte reserve. The reserve has a surface area of 728.8 ha comprising the parts of Big Plateau and the Kapaklivets Plateau between the peaks of Cherni Vrah (2290 m), Ushite (1906 m), and Chernata Skala (1869 m), including the upper watersheds of the Vladayska, Boyanska and Dragalevska Rivers. Torfeno Branishte was created in 1935 to preserve the pristine turf communities in the Subalpine zone of Vitosha, with hundreds of moss and algae species. The turf surface is 0.6 to 2 m thick, increasing by 1 mm annually. Access to the reserve is strictly forbidden because along with its conservation status Torfeno Branishte is also a drinking water catchment area.

Nu Boyana Film Studios (Bulgarian: Ню Бояна Филм) are film studios situated in Sofia, Bulgaria. The film production complex was opened in 1962 and was state owned until 2005 when it was bought by one of the longest-running independent film companies in Hollywood, Nu Image and Millennium Films. With an approximate area of 30 hectares (75 acres), the complex features 10 sound stages and various standing sets – New York, London, Middle Eastern street, St Paul's Cathedral and a big ancient set, complete with a Roman colosseum.Boyana Film was the main location for film production during the communist regime when Bulgarian cinema was at its peak.

The Boyana Church (Bulgarian: Боянска църква, Boyanska tsărkva) is a medieval Bulgarian Orthodox church situated on the outskirts of Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, in the Boyana quarter. In 1979, the building was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The east wing of the two-storey church was originally constructed in the late 10th or early 11th century, then the central wing was added in the 13th century under the Second Bulgarian Empire, the whole building being finished with a further expansion to the west in the middle of the 19th century. A total of 89 scenes with 240 human images are depicted on the walls of the church.

Boyana (Bulgarian: Бояна [boˈjanɐ]) is a neighbourhood of the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, part of Vitosha municipality and situated 8 km south of the city centre, in the outskirts of Vitosha. Boyana is one of the most expensive parts of Sofia to live in. The residents are primarily wealthy business people, government officials and other prominent members of Bulgarian society. Formerly an outlying village, it was incorporated into Sofia in 1961.

Zlatnite Mostove (Bulgarian: Златните мостове, ‘Golden Bridges’) is the largest stone river on Vitosha Mountain, Bulgaria. The feature is situated in the valley of Vladayska River, extending 2.2 km, and up to 150 m wide, with several ‘tributary’ stone rivers. The stone river is ‘descending’ from elevation 1800 m above sea level in Boeritsa Chalet area to 1410 m at Zlatnite Mostove site. The lower extremity of the stone river is known as Zlatnite Mostove site, a popular tourist destination accessible from Sofia by road.The name ‘Golden Bridges’ derives from the golden colour of the lichens growing on the surface of stone run boulders.

Vitosha Mountain TV Tower, better known as Kopitoto (Bulgarian: Копитото, "The Hoof") after the rock outcrop (1,348 m or 4,423 ft) it stands on, is a 186-metre (610 ft) tall TV tower built of reinforced concrete on Vitosha Mountain near Sofia, Bulgaria. The footprint of the tower has the shape of a hexagon with three of the sides extended (i.e. almost triangular). From the tower there is a commanding view of Sofia, and the tower can be seen from everywhere in Sofia, making it a landmark of Sofia's skyline. It is the second tallest television tower in Bulgaria.
