Frenchs Forest Bushland Cemetery is located in the suburb of Frenchs Forest occupying an area of 22 hectares. It is one of the main cemeteries on the Northern Beaches and is the only cemetery in the Forest district. It has been managed since 29 June 2012 by the Northern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust (known as Northern Cemeteries).

Bungaroo is a locality near St. Ives, Sydney, Australia. The location is thought to be the site where Governor Arthur Phillip and party camped on the night of 16 April 1788 on the first of many expeditions intended to find arable land that could supply the Colony with agricultural products. The colony at Sydney Cove was dependent on supplies from England, but the soils around the harbour were too poor to support crops and sustain the Colony.

Davidson High School, (abbreviation DHS) is a school located in Frenchs Forest, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, on Mimosa Street. It is a co-educational high school operated by the New South Wales Department of Education with students from years 7 to 12. The school was established in 1972 as a result of the growing population in the Frenchs Forest and Belrose areas and is located on a site bounded by heritage-listed remnant bushland. Davidson High has a prominent history of involvement in the performing arts, in Dance, Drama and Music, and annually produces the "Season of Performing Arts" at the local Glen Street Theatre. In 2004 and 2007, Davidson High entered the New South Wales Rock Eisteddfod Competition with pieces relating to the Iraq war. Both performances came under a lot of media scrutiny, with a similar result.

Established in 1968, Killara High School is one of the highest performing comprehensive non-selective public schools in the state. Currently, accepted catchment areas include Roseville, Lindfield, East Lindfield, West Killara, Killara, East Killara, West Gordon and East Gordon.

St Ives High School is a coeducational government high school located in St Ives, New South Wales on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, Australia. Approximately 1300 students are enrolled at the school each year. The school has spacious grounds with 1 sports field and 1 Multi-purpose Sports Centre. Apart from the immediate local area of St Ives, the school's intake area extends through Hornsby to north of Mount Colah. In 2024 these drawing boundaries will change to become smaller and more local by adding the area of Pymble, New South Wales and taking away the Northern Draw area.
