The Puddydale is a park and grassy area in Heswall, Wirral, England. It is on Telegraph Road, close to the main shopping area of Heswall. The land was given to the parish in 1859 by the Commissioners of Enclosure. It was previously the site of a lake, drained in 1922, and later became a rubbish tip; since 1932 it has been a playing field. It includes a children's playground. Local football teams use the site.The eastern side of The Puddydale was originally the site of Heswall Primary School from 1909 to 1982, but is now the site of residential flats.

Pensby High School is a co-educational secondary school in Pensby, on the Wirral Peninsula, Merseyside, England. The school site was originally split between a boys' school and girls' school which was federated, allowing joint staffing/teaching across the two schools whilst the pupils of each school (in years 7 to 11 but not the sixth form) remained separate. The two schools merged to form one mixed school beginning from the start of the September 2015 term.

Heswall is a town on the Wirral, Merseyside, England. At the 2001 Census, the population was 16,012, including the nearby villages of Barnston and Gayton.Before local government reorganisation on 1 April 1974 it was part of the administrative county of Cheshire.

Pensby (locally ) is a large village on the Wirral Peninsula, in Merseyside, England. It is located 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the north of the town of Heswall and approximately 0.5 miles (0.80 km) to the south west of Thingwall. Historically within Cheshire, the area is part of the Pensby and Thingwall Ward of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and is in the parliamentary constituency of Wirral West. At the 2001 census the village of Pensby had 6,900 inhabitants. The 2011 census measured the population of the Pensby and Thingwall ward at 13,007.

Heswall Dales is an area of some 72 acres (290,000 m2) of lowland heath situated close to Heswall on the Wirral Peninsula, England. It is a Site of Special Scientific Interest and a Local Nature Reserve. Heswall Dales offers views of the Dee Estuary and over the River Dee the Clwydian Hills of Wales.

Cleaver Heath Nature Reserve is a nature reserve in Heswall, on the Wirral Peninsula, managed by the Cheshire Wildlife Trust. It forms part of the Heswall Dales Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). Heswall Dales is regarded as the second best example (after Thurstaston Common) of lowland heath in Merseyside, hosting localised species including Western Gorse Ulex gallii, Many-stalked Spike Rush Eleocharis multicaulis and Green-ribbed Sedge Carex binervis. Common lizards are also present. The reserve overlooks the estuary of the River Dee.

St Peter's Church is in the town of Heswall, Wirral, Merseyside, England. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building. It is an active Anglican parish church in the diocese of Chester, the archdeaconry of Chester and the deanery of Wirral North.

Heswall railway station was on the Birkenhead Railway route between Hooton and West Kirby. It served the town of Heswall between 1886 and 1956.

Gayton is a village in Wirral, Merseyside, England, located between Heswall and Parkgate. It is part of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral. At the 2001 Census, the population of Gayton stood at 3,110.

Irby (locally ) is a village on the Wirral Peninsula, in Merseyside, England. The village covers an area of 20 square kilometres. To the north of Irby lies the associated hamlet of Irby Hill. It is part of the Greasby, Frankby and Irby Ward of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and is within the parliamentary constituency of Wirral West. According to the 2001 census, Irby had a population of 6,110, By the time of the 2011 census a separate statistic for Irby was no longer maintained. However, the total population of Greasby, Frankby and Irby Ward was 13,991.

Irby Hall is a 17th-century Grade II listed manor house located in Irby, Wirral. Built upon a former 11th century manor and courthouse of St Werburgh Abbey and surrounded by a moat the overall site has been designated as a Scheduled monument.

Thingwall is a village on the Wirral Peninsula, in Merseyside, England. The village is situated approximately 8 km (5.0 mi) to the south west of Birkenhead and 3 km (1.9 mi) north east of Heswall. Historically part of Cheshire, the area is within the Pensby and Thingwall Ward of the Metropolitan Borough of Wirral and the parliamentary constituency of Wirral West. At the 2001 census, Thingwall had 3,140 inhabitants. The 2011 census registered the total ward population at 13,007.
