St. George Lutheran Church is a historic Lutheran church located in Jackson Township, Shelby County, Indiana. The congregation was established by Abraham Miller in 1838, meeting at first in George Warner's farmhouse. The first dedicated church was completed in 1844 on the current site. In 1867, the members sold the frame church to a Baptist group and pledged $5000 to build the current structure.

It was built by the Elkhart Bridge and Iron Co. and built in 1911. It consists of two spans, with each measuring 128 feet long. It rests on concrete abutments and a concrete pier.: 5 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.

The dwellings include a collection of substantial homes with high historic integrity. Notable buildings include the Edinburgh Presbyterian Church (1916), and former marble shop and weight house (c. 1880). It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011.

It is part of the Columbus, Indiana metropolitan statistical area. Edinburgh was named in honor of Edinburgh, Scotland and for many years was pronounced the same way. Edinburgh is the home of Camp Atterbury, a National Guard training facility. The Big Blue River and Sugar Creek join to form the Driftwood River 1 mi (1.6 km) west of Edinburgh.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
