Chobienia [xɔˈbjɛɲa] (German: Köben) is a village (former town) in the administrative district of Gmina Rudna, within Lubin County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 25 kilometres (16 mi) north-east of Lubin, and 63 kilometres (39 mi) north-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The village has a population of 650. Chobienia is the site of a Renaissance castle, where Frederick II of Prussia stayed after the Battle of Kunersdorf in 1759.
