Vallabhbhai Patel Chest Institute is a postgraduate medical institute located in New Delhi, India, and supported by the University of Delhi. The Ministry of Health & Family Welfare of India takes care of its endowment. It has been categorized as one of the constituent colleges of the University of Delhi. The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi is the law department of the University of Delhi. It has the unique distinction of producing the largest number of sitting judges of the Supreme Court of India. DUCR 90.4 MHz established in 2007, is a Community Radio Station at Delhi University Stadium, University of Delhi. It was inaugurated by Sh. Kapil Sibal, Honorable Minister of Science & Technology and Minister of Earth Sciences, Government of India on 2 October 2007. Prof. Deepak Pental, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University of Delhi congratulated to the students and the community on this auspicious occasion. Prof Pental emphasized that the larger participation of faculty and students will strengthen the DUCR and make it popular among the community residing in and round Delhi University. Vijaylakshmi Sinha, former Deputy Director-General of All India Radio is supervising the project.In 2008, the University started using the station for disseminating information about the admission process, through live phone-in programs with students and parents.

Courses offered are under correspondence courses and continuing education policies of the university and respective government agencies.[1]

The college is well connected by road and Delhi Metro link, and majority students are day-scholars. A hostel for girls can accommodate 147 students, and a hostel for boys was inaugurated in February 2021. The college have air-conditioned classrooms with projection facilities and Internet, campus-wide wired as well as a wireless network having Internet connectivity, with 24x7 Internet in campus and an overall computer-student ratio of 1 : 2.95.

The Wireless Experimental Centre (WEC) was one of two overseas outposts of Station X, Bletchley Park, the British signals analysis centre during World War II. The other outpost was the Far East Combined Bureau. Codebreakers Wilfred Noyce and Maurice Allen broke the Japanese Army's Water Transport Code here in 1943, the first high-level Japanese Army code broken. John Tiltman broke prewar Russian and Japanese codes at Simla and Abbottabad.

The institute was started at the Delhi School of Economics premises under Dean A. Dasgupta of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE). The department of commerce of the Delhi College of Engineering (DCE) now, the Delhi Technological University (DTU), was abolished and the Faculty of Management Studies was established. The first set of professors were trained at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. The institute has since then expanded on the number of management courses available.

The Vishwa Vidyalaya metro station is located on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro, which services the University of Delhi North campus area and the Delhi University Stadium. It is also the alternate northern terminus for the yellow line along with Kashmere Gate. It is connected to the at-grade Khyber Pass Depot.
