Province of Pordenone

Pordenone railway station (Italian: Stazione di Pordenone) serves the city and comune of Pordenone, in the autonomous region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, northeastern Italy. Opened in 1855, the station is located on the Venice–Udine railway. Although it is not a junction or terminal station, it is used by a great many passengers. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services to and from the station are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company.

The Aquarium of Cattolica is the second largest public aquarium in Italy. It is located in Cattolica on the Adriatic coast. It was inaugurated in 2000.

The company specializes in the design and manufacture of light aircraft in the form of kits for amateur construction and ready-to-fly aircraft in the European Fédération Aéronautique Internationale microlight category.The company produces a range of both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, both manned and unmanned. These include the Alpi Pioneer 200 and 230, the 300, the aerobatic 330 microlights and the four seat 400 kit aircraft. The 200 and 300 series are built from a combination of wood and composites. The company also manufactures the Syton AH 130 turbine-powered helicopter which is derived from the Rotorway Exec. Alpi also markets the Alpi Strix-C fixed-wing mini unmanned aerial vehicle and the Alpi Sixton-A rotary-wing micro unmanned aerial vehicle.

As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 13,711 and an area of 51.4 square kilometres (19.8 sq mi).The municipality of Azzano Decimo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Corva, Fagnigola, and Tiezzo. Azzano Decimo borders the following municipalities: Chions, Fiume Veneto, Pasiano di Pordenone, Pordenone, Pravisdomini.

San Quirino (Friulian: San Quarìn) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region Friuli-Venezia Giulia, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) northwest of Trieste and about 8 kilometres (5 mi) northeast of Pordenone. San Quirino borders the following municipalities: Aviano, Cordenons, Maniago, Montereale Valcellina, Pordenone, Roveredo in Piano, Vivaro.

The Castle of Zoppola is an 11th-century castle in Zoppola, in the Province of Pordenone in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia. In 1103, the castle was given to the Zoppola family. By 1405, it came to be owned by the patriarch of Aquileia, Antonio Panciera, who later became Cardinal. It still belongs to the family. The main tower was partially rebuilt in 1900, but was broken again in the 1976 Friuli earthquake. The castle was once surrounded by a triple ring of walls with moats.In the interior courtyard are frescoes by Pomponio Amalteo. The interior has frescoes by Giovanni Battista Tiepolo, Pietro Longhi, and Giovanni da Udine (attributed).

Roveredo in Piano borders the following municipalities: Aviano, Fontanafredda, Porcia, Pordenone, San Quirino.

Fontanafredda (Standard Friulian: Fontanefrede; Western Friulian: Fontanafredha; Venetian: Fontanafreda) is a comune (municipality) of about 12,000 inhabitants in Province of Pordenone, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, north-eastern Italy. The town hall is located in the frazione of Vigonovo.
