The Alexander Ramsey House is a historic house museum in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States; the former residence of Alexander Ramsey, who served as the first governor of Minnesota Territory and the second governor of the state of Minnesota. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969. It is also a contributing property to the Irvine Park Historic District.It is located at 265 Exchange Street South in the Irvine Park area, which was one of the first trendy neighborhoods in Minnesota. Designed by noted early Minnesota architect Monroe Sheire, the house is one of the nation's best-preserved Victorian homes, featuring carved walnut woodwork, marble fireplaces, crystal chandeliers, and many original furnishings.The Ramsey family began building the house in 1868, including innovations like hot water radiators, gas lights and hot and cold running water, and when it was completed in 1872, the total cost of construction was nearly $41,000. To furnish the house, Ramsey's wife Anna filled two boxcars with fashionable and expensive Renaissance-revival furniture from the A.T. Stewart Company Store in New York to bring home to Minnesota.The Ramseys' daughter Marion married Charles Furness in a lavish wedding in the parlor in 1875.The 15-room house remained in the Ramsey family until the death of Alexander Ramsey's last surviving granddaughter Anita in 1964. The house and its contents were left to the Minnesota Historical Society, which now operates it as a museum with tours offered year-round. They offer special programs such as "A Victorian Christmas at the Ramsey House" in which the house is decorated for the holidays and visitors can discover how the Ramseys would have prepared for and celebrated Christmas. Tours show the dining table set with the family's china and crystal, with a Christmas tree decorated with the family's own ornaments.

The John M. Armstrong House is in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. John Milton Armstrong, son of John Armstrong, Jr. (April 20, 1793 – December 22, 1865) hired architect Edward P. Bassford to design this side-by-side duplex in 1886 as income-producing residential housing. The red brick house was originally located at 233-235 West Fifth Street, but was moved to its present location on Eagle Parkway in November 2001.

The Justus Ramsey Stone House is the oldest known house still standing in Saint Paul in the U.S. state of Minnesota. The house, located at 252 West 7th Street is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The home is an example of a Saint Paul residence of a settler of some financial means.

The Rochat-Louise-Sauerwein Block are a group of buildings that comprise one of the few remaining intact Victorian commercial blocks in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. They were built 1885-1895 by Castner, Hermann Kretz, and Edward P. Bassford, and are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Saint Paul Municipal Grain Terminal, also known as the head house (a six-story grain elevator) and sack house, sits on piers over the Mississippi River in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. It was built between 1927 and 1931 as part of the Equity Cooperative Exchange and is a remnant of Saint Paul's early history as a Mississippi River port city. The Saint Paul Municipal Grain Terminal was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

The Festival of Nations is an annual multicultural festival in the American Midwest, organised by the International Institute of Minnesota. Since 1932, its goal has been to inspire people to discover more about their world and embrace the rich cultural diversity in their community. Nearly 100 ethnic groups come together for a unique, 4-day experience that celebrates cultural heritage through dancing, performances, exhibits, demonstrations and cuisine. Through the provision of a stage and platform for the new artists, and the sharing and documentation of this heritage. As the Festival evolves every year, they welcome new ethnic groups and offer programming that reflects the diversity of their community. Festival of Nations is currently directed by Aisling Reynolds.

Xcel Energy Center (also known as "The X") is a multipurpose arena in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States. Completed in 2000, it is named for its locally based corporate sponsor Xcel Energy. With an official capacity of 17,954, the arena has four spectator levels: one suite level and three for general seating. The building is home to the NHL's Minnesota Wild. The arena is owned by the city of Saint Paul and operated by the Wild's parent company, Minnesota Sports & Entertainment. It is on the same block as the RiverCentre convention facility, Roy Wilkins Auditorium and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, in downtown St. Paul, and shares a single indoor access area with RiverCentre and Roy Wilkins Auditorium. It also hosted the 2008 Republican National Convention.

Science Museum of Minnesota is an American museum focused on topics in technology, natural history, physical science, and mathematics education. Founded in 1907 and located in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit institution is staffed by over 300 employees and is supported by hundreds of volunteers. The museum seeks to deliver science and education that centers equity, and its mission statement is to "Turn on the science: Inspire learning. Inform policy. Improve lives."

The Saint Paul RiverCentre is a convention center located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It sits adjacent to the Roy Wilkins Auditorium, Xcel Energy Center and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts. The convention center opened in 1998. It was designed by Hammel Green and Abrahamson, Inc. It has twice been honored as "Best Convention Center" by Minnesota Meetings and Events Magazine. It hosts a large variety of events and has been the home of the annual Festival of Nations.

Roy Wilkins Auditorium (nicknamed The Roy) is a 5,000-seat multi-purpose arena in St. Paul, Minnesota. Designed by the renowned municipal architect Clarence W. Wigington, it was built in 1932 as an arena extension to the existing St. Paul Auditorium (built 1906–1907). When the old auditorium wing was demolished in 1982, Wigington's arena wing remained. It was renamed for Roy Wilkins in 1985. It is part of the RiverCentre complex, down the hall from the Xcel Energy Center, home of the National Hockey League's Minnesota Wild.

United Hospital, located in St. Paul, Minnesota, is a 556-bed non-profit hospital that serves St. Paul and the eastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. United Hospital is part of Allina Health and offers specialty services including pregnancy care, birth center, behavioral health, cancer care, heart and vascular services, orthopedics and neuroscience. The hospital provides health care services to more than 200,000 people each year. United Hospital is the main hospital for the United Heart and Vascular Clinic.

The Joseph Brings House, also known as the Johan and Maria Magdalena Schilliger House, is a historical residence in Saint Paul, Minnesota, United States, built of local limestone. Originally located at 314 Smith Avenue North, the home was built between 1859 and 1862 by John Schilliger and purchased by Brings in 1863. A cooper, Joseph Brings (1820–1899) was born in Germany and came to Saint Paul in 1857.The house was nominated to the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) in 1983 as part of the West Seventh Street Early Limestone Houses Thematic Resource, along with the Anthony Waldman House and Martin Weber House. The Brings House received an NRHP reference number, #83004868, but the listing was never finalized. None of the three buildings are officially on the National Register. It was listed with listing code DR, meaning "Date Received" and nomination pending, in 1983.
