Morsko (pronounced [mɔɾˈskoː]) is a settlement on the left bank of the Soča River, south of Kanal in the Littoral region of Slovenia.

The Municipality of Kanal ob Soči (pronounced [kaˈnaːl ɔp ˈsoːtʃi] or [kaˈnaːu̯ ɔp ˈsoːtʃi]; Slovene: Občina Kanal ob Soči) is a municipality in the traditional region of the Littoral in western Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Kanal. Kanal ob Soči became a municipality in 1994.

At its eastern border, on the left bank of the Soča, runs the Bohinj Railway, the railway track linking the Central Europe and the Mediterranean.

Krstenica (pronounced [kəɾstɛˈniːtsa]) is a small settlement on the right bank of the Soča River between Kanal and Anhovo in the Littoral region of Slovenia. Until 2007, the area was part of the settlement of Gorenja Vas.The local church is dedicated to Saint Nicholas and belongs to the parish of Kanal.

It belongs to the Diocese of Koper.
