European School of Costa Rica

The National University of Costa Rica (in Spanish, Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica, abbreviated UNA) is one of five public universities in the Republic of Costa Rica, in Central America. The main campus is located in the city of Heredia. According to recent international studies, The National University of Costa Rica ranks 85th in Latin America and 1576th in the world. More than 12,000 students study in its main campus. In addition to offering a broad undergraduate curriculum, it offers 16 Master of Arts degrees. It is known for its strong programs in ecology, sociology and education. Former legislator of the Citizen Action Party (PAC), Alberto Salom Echeverria, will be the new rector of the National University of Costa Rica (UNA) for 2015–2020.

Palacio de los Deportes (English language:Palace of Sports) is an indoor arena with capacity for 7,500 persons located in Heredia, Costa Rica. The arena regularly hosts local events such as sporting events, concerts, and trade shows. In 2004, the arena hosted the CONCACAF Futsal Championship. It was built in 1989. The Eladio Rosabal Cordero Stadium (Spanish: Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero), also referred to as Transcomer Arena for sponsorship reasons, is a stadium in Heredia, Costa Rica. Built on the site of the old Rosabal Cordero stadium, which had stood from 1949 until 2020. The stadium will serve as Herediano's home stadium. The construction process has been marred with numerous delays.

Estadio Eladio Rosabal Cordero is a multi-purpose stadium in Heredia, Costa Rica. The stadium holds 8,700 people and opened in 1951. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Herediano. The stadium is named after Herediano legend Eladio Rosabal Cordero, who founded the club in 1921.
