Thonon-les-Bains station (French: Gare de Thonon-les-Bains) is a railway station located in Thonon-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie, south-eastern France. The station was opened in 1880 and is located on the Longeray-Léaz-Le Bouveret railway. The train services are operated by SNCF.

In 2018, the commune had a population of 35,241. Thonon-les-Bains is part of a transborder metropolitan area known as Grand Genève. It is situated on the shores of Lake Geneva (French: Lac Léman, or simply Le Léman).

The Funiculaire de Thonon-les-Bains, or Thonon-les-Bains Funicular, is a funicular railway in the spa town of Thonon-les-Bains, in the French département of Haute-Savoie. The line links the Belvedere, in the city centre, to the port of Rives, on the shores of Lake Geneva. The funicular is managed by the Syndicat intercommunal des bus de l'agglomération thononaise (SIBAT), which is also responsible for the local bus service. It was opened in 1888. It has been renovated twice, first in 1951. After another renovation finished in 1989 a fully automated system designed by Poma was put into operation. It was the 1st of its kind in France. The arrondissement of Thonon-les-Bains is an arrondissement of France in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It has 68 communes. Its population is 145,809 (2016), and its area is 907.7 km2 (350.5 sq mi).

Stade Joseph-Moynat is a multi-purpose stadium in Thonon-les-Bains, France. It is currently used for American football matches and is the home stadium of Thonon Black Panthers. The stadium is able to hold from 3,000 to 6,000 people. It is also the home of association football club Thonon Evian Grand Genève F.C.

Thonon Agglomération is the communauté d'agglomération, an intercommunal structure, centred on the city of Thonon-les-Bains. It is located in the Haute-Savoie department, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, eastern France. Created in 2017, its seat is in Thonon-les-Bains. Its area is 238.9 km2. Its population was 90,531 in 2019, of which 35,826 in Thonon-les-Bains proper.

Armoy (French pronunciation: [aʁmwa]; Arpitan: Armoué) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of eastern France. The commune covers an area of 4.95 square kilometres and lies between 415 and 674 metres above sea level. The inhabitants, of whom there were 1,287 in 2018, are known as Armoisiens.

The Arboretum de Ripaille (53 hectares) is an arboretum and forest located on the grounds of the Château de Ripaille, Thonon-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie, Rhône-Alpes, France. It is open daily except Monday, but closed in December. The arboretum is set beside the Lake Geneva (Lac Léman), within the medieval hunting grounds of the Counts and Dukes of Savoy which are now surrounded by high walls and cut through with a web of wide allées. Its chateau was constructed in 1434 with partial restoration in 1892. From 1930 to 1934 Andrew Engel planted 58 species of trees, from around the world, across 19 hectares of these grounds. Heavy storms in 1999 severely damaged the arboretum, with restoration beginning in 2002. Since 1997 the Mémorial National des Justes de France, honoring citizens who risked their lives saving Jews during World War II, has been set within the center of the arboretum.
