Pope John Paul II High School, frequently called JP2 or JPII by its community, is a four-year, college-preparatory, Catholic high school, named after John Paul II, who was Pope of the Catholic Church from 1978 until his death in 2005, and canonised in 2014. The school is located in Lacey, Washington, within the Archdiocese of Seattle.Pope John Paul II High School opened in 2010.

First founded as a priory in 1895, the abbey is part of the American-Cassinese Benedictine Congregation and the Benedictine Confederation. As of 2020, the monastic community had 20 monks.

Saint Martin's University is a private Benedictine university in Lacey, Washington. It was founded in 1895 as a boys' boarding school run by monks of the Benedictine Order. Saint Martin's began offering college-level courses in 1900 and became a degree-granting institution in 1940. The college became coeducational in 1965. In 2005, it changed its name from Saint Martin's College to Saint Martin's University. There is a Benedictine monastery on campus grounds and some members of the monastic community serve as professors.

Timberline High School is a comprehensive public secondary school in Lacey, Washington. Opened in 1970 and part of North Thurston Public Schools, its school colors are green and gold and the mascot is a blazer. Timberline primarily receives students from Komachin Middle School. At one point the school building was also home to the experimental high school, New Century High School. Timberline's original floor plan was open, similar to the Juanita concept; the original building was fully demolished during the 2007–08 school year.

In 2019, the school’s nickname changed from the Navigators to the Wolverines (a nickname that now includes the Preschool and the Academy). Its mascot is a wolverine whose name is Wesley, and its colors are navy, teal, white, and gray. Northwest Christian High School provides college preparatory academics, a variety of elective classes, competitive sports, and TOEFL preparation. Class sizes are very small averaging around 15-20.
