It was built about 1856, and is a two-story, five-bay, plantation-style frame dwelling. It has clapboard siding, a one-story rear shed addition, and features a two-tier front gallery supported by square piers.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

The Duncan Tunnel (also known as the Edwardsville Tunnel) is a railroad tunnel in Edwardsville, Floyd County, Indiana, USA. At 4,295 feet (1,309 m) long it is the longest tunnel in Indiana. The tunnel was initially built for the Air Line, who were unable to find a suitable route over the Floyds Knobs so they decided to tunnel through them. The tunnel was completed by the Southern Railway in 1881 at a total cost of $1 million. It is currently still in use by the Norfolk Southern Railway. The tunnel passes beneath I-64 intersection #118.

The Yenowine-Nichols-Collins House was once on the National Register of Historic Places in Georgetown, Indiana. A fire took place on October 31, 2005, due to Halloween arson, and the building was torn down in 2008. As of 2008, First Harrison Bank had plans to use materials from the building in a new bank branch. The house was built in 1832, and was a two-story, five-bay, Federal style brick dwelling. It had a rear ell, low gable roof, and gable end chimneys.: 2 The last of the descendants of the builders, Mabelle Collins, in 1983 created a "preservation easement" that required that the house be kept in historical condition. This stopped the owners since 1994, Charles and Lynda Meyer, in their attempts to use or sell the building as they wished. The Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana is helping with the recovery. This, after taking measures in 2004 to stop the moving of the building. HLFI offered $10,000 for the arrest of the arsonist, but the Meyers refused HLFI's demands that they add to the offer; the arson occurred two months after HLFI successfully sued the Meyers to use their own money to restore the house. At the time of the fire, the Meyers still had not done anything to restore the house, despite the ruling. The Meyers stated they want the House to be considered a total loss.In December 2007, Historic Landmarks Foundation of Indiana announced that it had reached an agreement with First Harrison Bank that would guarantee the reconstruction of the Yenowine-Nichols-Collins House. The bank intended to purchase the structure (which was damaged beyond repair), salvage the bricks and other material and rebuild the home to its original appearance as part of a new bank branch.On March 6, 2008, the House was removed from the National Register, as it had been torn down.

Opened in 1998, it is owned by Vici Properties and operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, using the Caesars name under license from Caesars Entertainment. It is located outside the community of Elizabeth, Indiana at the Harrison County line, across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. This is the closest casino to Louisville because casino gambling is not allowed in neighboring Floyd County. Locals often simply call it "The Boat", a reference to the former riverboat that was the main focus of the complex. The complex includes over 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) of gaming space, a sports betting lounge, and several restaurants. Other amenities include a hotel, a pavilion, a showroom, two parking decks, and a golf course. Steelman Partners designed the hotel.

Ohio Falls Station is a hydroelectric power station owned by Louisville Gas & Electric (LG&E) and Kentucky Utilities (KU) which is located three miles west of Downtown Louisville, Kentucky. The generating station is located on Shippingport Island at the site of the McAlpine Dam and locks along the Ohio River in Kentucky. The plant was built in 1923 by Byllesby Engineering and Management Corporation and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The plant featured eight 10.4 MW units operating at roughly 13,500 hp per unit. Each unit was composed of Allis-Chalmers turbines and General Electric generators. The plant is located inside the Ohio Natural Wildlife Conservation Area and is considered a large impoundment hydro power plant. The station was built after a canal and dam within the Ohio river in an attempt to allow boats to navigate the 8 ft vertical drop among the falls that spanned 2 miles wide. Production of the canal and dam began in 1825. It was not until a repair on the dam was needed that Louisville engineers had the idea of building a hydroelectric station to harvest the power of the falls.

It is broadcast from the SummitMedia facility on Chestnut Centre in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, and its city of license is Corydon, Indiana. It transmits from a broadcast tower near Elizabeth, Indiana west of the Ohio River, which it shares with WAY-FM station WAYK/105.9, and Alpha Media's WGZB/96.5.

WAYK (105.9 FM) is an American contemporary Christian music station in the Louisville, Kentucky, metropolitan area. It is a WAY-FM Network owned-and-operated station. 105.9 FM was initially a construction permit with the call sign WVSL in 1991. On September 1, 1993, it officially signed on with an active rock format as "QMF Too," in reference to then-sister station WQMF (105.9 changed to the WQNF call letters). In July 1995, the station shifted to modern rock, rebranded as "Q105.9", and changed call sign to WXNU. On September 13, 1996, it flipped to Modern AC as "Hits 105.9." This was short-lived; in 1997, WRVI and its Rock AC format moved from 94.7 FM to 105.9. The format would later shift to all-80s hits. In August 1999, after the station was sold to Salem, it flipped to Contemporary Christian, while retaining the "River" branding. Prior to 2008, the station was "105.9 The River" owned by Salem Communications. On May 2, 2011, the then-WSYI rebranded as "Shine 105.9". The station changed its call sign to the current WAYK on December 19, 2013.
