Riverside Gardens is a neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky centered along Campground Road and Lees Lane. In 2007, the first stretch of the proposed 110-mile Louisville Loop bike and pedestrian trail was completed to Lees Lane in Riverside Gardens from Riverview Park. The project included a $2 million bridge over Mill Creek. The concrete trail is expected to be connected to Shawnee Park by spring of 2008. In the future, a wharf and riverfront park is planned for Riverside Gardens. As of 2000, Riverside Gardens had an estimated population of 1,238.

The Cane Run Generating Station is a 640 megawatt (MW), natural gas power plant owned and operated by Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E). It is 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Downtown Louisville, Kentucky, in its Pleasure Ridge Park neighborhood. It was formerly a coal power plant until 2015.

Gabriel Farnsley House, also known as the Behrens House, is a historic home located in Franklin Township, Floyd County, Indiana. It was built about 1856, and is a two-story, five-bay, plantation-style frame dwelling. It has clapboard siding, a one-story rear shed addition, and features a two-tier front gallery supported by square piers.: 2 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

Caesars Southern Indiana (formerly Caesars Indiana and Horseshoe Southern Indiana) is a casino hotel in Southern Indiana. Opened in 1998, it is owned by Vici Properties and operated by the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, using the Caesars name under license from Caesars Entertainment. It is located outside the community of Elizabeth, Indiana at the Harrison County line, across the Ohio River from Louisville, Kentucky. This is the closest casino to Louisville because casino gambling is not allowed in neighboring Floyd County. Locals often simply call it "The Boat", a reference to the former riverboat that was the main focus of the complex. The complex includes over 100,000 square feet (9,300 m2) of gaming space, a sports betting lounge, and several restaurants. Other amenities include a hotel, a pavilion, a showroom, two parking decks, and a golf course. Steelman Partners designed the hotel.

Jefferson Riverport International (commonly called Riverport) is a planned industrial community on the Ohio River, home to companies engaged in manufacturing or distribution. It is one of the few inland industrial/port sites in the nation with single-line haul by three railroads: CSX, Norfolk Southern and Paducah & Louisville. It was established in the mid-1970s. The industrial park contains a variety of manufacturing and industrial production, as well as distribution and international trade. There is a Foreign Trade Zone in Riverport, designated as #29, with customs clearance in Louisville.
