The Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) Hall No. 148, also known as Fraternal Order of Eagles (FOE) Aerie No. 2059, is a meeting hall building in Carnation, Washington. It was built in 1895. listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999.In 1985 the building was listed as a King County, Washington historic site. The building has a prominent gambrel roof which gives it a barn-like appearance.The building is currently occupied by a business named "River Run Anglers" The east bank of the Snoqualmie River is a few hundred yards away.

Remlinger Farms is a 350-acre (1.4 km2) working farm located in Carnation, Washington, and listed in the Library of Congress Local Legacies Project. It is open to the public for 6 months of the year with amusement rides, entertainment, u-pick fields and corn mazes specializing in local produce. It was originally created from the Remlinger family farm, owned by Floyd Remlinger, before being taken over by his son, Gary Remlinger.

The Andrew and Bergette Hjertoos Farm, also known as the Hjertoos Farm and Carnation Tree Farm, is a working farm in Carnation, Washington. Built in 1907 and listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 2002, the farm is an example of early 20th century family dairy farming in the Snoqualmie River Valley.

The Tolt River is located in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains in north central King County in the U.S. state of Washington. The river begins at the confluence of the North Fork Tolt and South Fork Tolt rivers. It flows southwest joining the Snoqualmie River near Carnation, Washington. The Tolt River watershed is part of the larger Snohomish River and Puget Sound drainage basin. The South Fork Tolt watershed provides ~30% of the drinking water for Seattle area residents.

The Snoqualmie Valley is a farming and timber-producing region located along the Snoqualmie River in Western Washington, United States. The valley stretches from the confluence of the three forks of the river at North Bend to the confluence of the Snoqualmie River and the Skykomish River (home to the Skykomish / Skai-whamish, a Snoqualmie band), forming the Snohomish River at Monroe. This stretch of the river includes Snoqualmie Falls. Towns in the valley are North Bend, Snoqualmie, Preston, Fall City, Carnation, and Duvall. Hops were the major crop of this region in the late 19th century. The valley is the ancestral home of the Snoqualmie people. The name Snoqualmie comes from the native word for "Moon the Transformer" and originates in the creation myth of the Snoqualmie people.

Lake Marcel is a private reservoir and community in unincorporated Carnation, Lake Marcel-Stillwater, King County, Washington, United States, in the foothills of the Cascades. Lake Marcel has a surface area of 33 acres (130,000 m2) and a watershed of 1,290 acres (5.2 km2). It has a maximum depth of 17 feet (5.2 m).Lake Marcel is at an altitude of 295 feet (90 m) above sea level. The lake sits in a bowl at the top of Stillwater Hill on the east side of the Snoqualmie Valley, north of Carnation. It has two main areas of water connected by a channel, and several peninsular features make an extensive shoreline around the lake.
