Farleigh Wallop

Farleigh Hill is one of the highest points in the county of Hampshire, England. It is part of the Hampshire Downs and reaches a height of 208 metres (682 ft) above sea level. Its prominence of 34 metres (112 ft) just qualifies it as a ('P30') TuMP.Farleigh Hill rises about 1 kilometre southeast of the M3 and the outskirts of Basingstoke in Hampshire. The B 3046 runs over the hill from southwest to northeast, passing within about 100 metres of the summit at a crossroads. In the vicinity are a number of houses and lodges, and Farleigh House School and Farleigh Wallop lie on the southeastern spur of the hill. The village of Cliddesden lies on the same road about 2 kilometres to the northeast.

Hatch Warren is a district and ward of Basingstoke in Hampshire, England. The population of the appropriate ward called Hatch Warren and Beggarwood was 9,284 at the 2011 Census. It is situated west of the town centre and neighbouring housing estates include Kempshott and Brighton Hill. It is primarily served by Brighton Hill Community School (a secondary school) and two junior schools, St Mark's and Hatch Warren. It lies within the Hatch Warren & Beggarwood ward of Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council.Hatch Warren shares a Newsletter, the Rabbiter, with Beggarwood and Kempshott Park, and has a small retail park, which includes a supermarket and a petrol station. It also has a pub named The Portsmouth Arms. The pub was due to open in 1996, but was destroyed by arson; the Portsmouth Arms did however open a year later.

Ellisfield is a village in the Basingstoke and Deane district of Hampshire, England. It lies approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Basingstoke on the other side of the M3 motorway from the town. As a parish it is grouped together with Cliddesden, Dummer and Farleigh Wallop.

Beggarwood is a housing estate of Basingstoke, in the English county of Hampshire. The estate is located approximately 2.5 miles (4.0 km) south-west of Basingstoke town centre. It was built almost completely in one phase between 2001 and 2009. A 96-plot of houses called The Fairways was completed in 2019. There is a shop, an estate agent, a nursery, a pharmacy, a dentist, a doctors' surgery, on Broadmere Road. An area of land near the A30 called The Island Site is under development and is mostly complete. It contains The Holly Blue pub, the Dashwood Manor Care Home, specialist care facility, and residential apartments. The land for the originally-proposed dentist has been sold off and no work is being done there currently.

Cliddesden is a parish in Hampshire, England located 3 miles south of Basingstoke, close to the M3 motorway. In the 2001 census it had a population of 489, increasing to 497 at the 2011 Census. The land and housing are currently protected as it is within a Conservation Zone and has many areas of beauty and rolling countryside. The village was formerly served by Cliddesden railway station on the now defunct Basingstoke and Alton Light Railway. The station was used in the making of several films. In the 1937 film Oh, Mr Porter!, Cliddesden appeared as 'Buggleskelly'. A short length of railway track was installed in the centre of the Viables Roundabout in Basingstoke in 1976 to commemorate the line at a point close to its original route. The B3046 runs through the village centre.About 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to the southwest lies one of the highest points on the Hampshire Downs, Farleigh Hill (208 m).

Nutley is a small village and civil parish in the Basingstoke and Deane district of Hampshire, England. It is located approximately 5.6 miles (9.0 km) south-west from Basingstoke, just off the B3046 road. The parish has an acreage of 1,524 acres (617 ha) with 74 acres (30 ha) made up of permanent grass and 386 acres (156 ha) of woodland.

Brighton Hill Community School (known locally as BHCS) is a coeducational secondary school located in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke in the county of Hampshire in the south of England. Brighton Hill has run exchange trips with Marienschule, a school in Basingstoke's twin town, Euskirchen. It runs sport-related trips, as well as trips for other subjects such as English, Drama, French and Science. It holds annual Gifted and Talented events for Sports students. Brighton Hill Community School is also a Training School and a Sports Specialist School. In May 2017, the school achieved a 'good' rating from Ofsted for the first time in over ten years.

Cliddesden railway station was a railway station in the village of Cliddesden, Hampshire, UK. The station was a stop on the Basingstoke and Alton Light Railway until its closure in 1932.

Brighton Hill is a district of Basingstoke, England, that was formed around 1970 as part of the Town Centre Development Plan. The area is bounded to the west by the newer housing estate of Hatch Warren and by the A30. To the east of Brighton Hill, the Viables Industrial Estate and Cranbourne area. The area to the east is a lot older than Brighton Hill itself. The M3 motorway runs in a straight line to the south of the area, directly next to the southern ebb of Brighton Hill, which sometimes is referred to as Old Hatchwarren.

The Coppice Spring Academy (formerly Grangeside School) is a coeducational secondary school located in Basingstoke for students with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD). This includes students with learning difficulties, attention deficit and hyperactive disorders, and compulsive disorders. In January 2016 there were 53 students on roll of which 40 were boys; the school takes students from the whole of Hampshire. It has 13 full-time teachers and 6 support assistants.

Axford is a hamlet in the Basingstoke and Deane district of Hampshire, England. The settlement is within the civil parish of Nutley, and is located approximately 5.5 miles (8.9 km) south-west of Basingstoke.
