Indian Creek is a stream in Marion County, Indiana, in the United States. It is a tributary of Fall Creek. Indian Creek was so named from the fact that Native Americans used the area as a camping ground.A 60-acre (24 ha) reservoir named Indian Lake was created by the construction of a dam on the creek in 1929.

It covers an area of 48 square miles (120 km2) and in 2010 had a student enrollment just under 16,000.It includes two high schools, two middle schools, eleven elementary schools, four kindergarten centers, and one alternative school for at-risk students of middle-school and high-school age. Fort Harrison, sometimes called Fort Ben, is an Indiana state park located in Lawrence, Indiana, United States, and occupies part of the former site of Fort Benjamin Harrison. The park features a former Citizen's Military Training Camp, Civilian Conservation Corps camp, and World War II prisoner of war camp. There are also picnicking and walking/jogging trails including a connection to the Fall Creek Greenway. The park receives nearly 900,000 visitors annually.The park is 1 of 14 Indiana State Parks that are in the path of totality for the 2024 solar eclipse, with 3 minutes and 48 seconds of totality.

Fort Benjamin Harrison was a U.S. Army post located in suburban Lawrence Township, Marion County, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis, between 1906 and 1991. It is named for the 23rd United States president, Benjamin Harrison.

Indian Lake is a reservoir in the city of Lawrence in Marion County, Indiana, United States. It is approximately 11 miles (20 km) northeast of downtown Indianapolis. It was created in 1929 by damming Indian Creek, a tributary to Fall Creek. Prior to the creation of Geist Reservoir in 1943 and Eagle Creek Reservoir in 1967, Indian Lake was the largest body of water in Marion County.

Camp Edwin F. Glenn is a national historic district located at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indianapolis, Indiana. It encompasses 19 contributing buildings and 360 contributing structures in a former military camp. The district developed between about 1925 and 1941. It originally served as a Citizens' Military Training Camp from 1925 to 1941, a camp for the Civilian Conservation Corps from 1933 to 1941, and a Prisoner of War camp from 1944 to 1945. The district includes six warehouses, five mess halls, five lavatories, a branch exchange, butcher shop, latrine, and 360 concrete tent pads.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

Fort Harrison Terminal Station, also known as Fort Harrison Post Office, is a historic train station located at Fort Benjamin Harrison in suburban Lawrence Township, Marion County, Indiana, northeast of Indianapolis, Indiana. It was built in 1908, and is a one-story, brick building with Prairie School and Bungalow / American Craftsman style design elements. It has a low, double pitched hipped roof sheathed in metal. It served as a terminal for the interurban Union Traction Company until 1941, after which it housed a U.S. Post Office.: 2–3  It has been converted into a Mexican restaurant. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
