The Millcreek Mall or Millcreek Mall Complex is a one-level shopping center 3.4 miles (5.5 km) southwest of downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, between Peach Street and Interstate 79, in Millcreek Township. The mall is the fourteenth largest shopping mall in the United States, and, with 195 stores, Millcreek Mall is currently the third largest shopping mall in Pennsylvania.The complex opened on November 9, 1975 and was developed by the Youngstown, Ohio-based Cafaro Company, who continue to own and operate it. Due to Pennsylvania's lack of sales tax on clothing, the Millcreek Mall attracts many visitors from Ohio, New York and Canada. The mall proper houses 121 store spaces, with 12 kiosks. The 165 stores and restaurants figure often cited includes stores within the physical mall and its many peripheral restaurants, stores and strip plazas. The mall is anchored by Boscov's, JCPenney, Macy's and Dick's Sporting Goods.

Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark Resort is a large Polynesian-themed indoor water park located in Erie, Pennsylvania. The park is approximately 80,000 square feet (7,400 m2). It features nine water slides, two hot tubs, one large activity pool, a five-story activity tree house play structure, a toddler play pool, a 30,000-square-foot (2,800 m2) wave pool, a FlowRider, and a 6,500-square-foot (600 m2) arcade. Ainsworth Field is a 3,000 seat baseball stadium located in Erie, Pennsylvania. It hosted the Erie Sailors and other Erie-based minor league teams between 1928 and 1994. In 1995, it was made obsolete for professional use by the opening of UPMC Park. It was refurbished in 2004 and is currently used for high school and other amateur baseball games.

The Erie Zoo (formally Erie Zoological Park and Botanical Garden of Northwestern Pennsylvania), is a zoological park in Erie, Pennsylvania. It is located on 15 acres (6.1 ha) of land in Glenwood Park, just off West 38th Street between Cherry Street and Glenwood Park Avenue. The zoo has more than 400 animals, while the botanical gardens and greenhouse have over 600 species of plants from around the world. The zoo, which operates from March to November, attracts more than 400,000 annual visitors.The Erie Zoo was a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) until 2021.

Central Tech School was a high school in Erie, Pennsylvania, in the United States. Originally named Central High School, it was the result of the merger of Academy High School and Technical Memorial High School after the conclusion of the 1992–1993 academic year when Academy closed. Around 1994, Central was renamed Central Tech. The attendance was roughly 1,000 students, and offered 21 Career and Technical courses. The school's mascot was a Falcon. It was the Erie School District's regional vocational-technical school before it was renamed Erie High School, after the merger of Strong Vincent High School and East High School in 2017. In 2017, Central Tech High School was renamed Erie High School (Pennsylvania) when the School District of the City of Erie consolidated all of its high schools—with the exception of Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy.

WXBB's studios are located in the Boston Store building in downtown Erie while its transmitter is located near Peach Street and Sesame Street south of I-90.
