Chelmsford High School

The Middlesex County Training School is a former reform school located in North Chelmsford, Massachusetts. After its closure, its buildings were purchased by the University of Massachusetts Lowell, which utilized its buildings for its College of Education. Today, the school's records are housed in the Massachusetts Archives.One of its buildings was home to the Fay A. Rotenberg School, operated by the Robert F. Kennedy Children's Action Corps, from 1982 until its 2006 relocation to Westborough, Massachusetts. The Rotenberg School (not to be confused with the Judge Rotenberg Educational Center, also in Massachusetts) is "the longest running and currently the only long-term treatment facility for adolescent females in the state".

Stony Brook is a tributary of the Merrimack River in northeastern Massachusetts, joining the Merrimack at Chelmsford. Its watershed includes the towns of Boxborough, Harvard, Littleton, Ayer, Groton, Westford, Tyngsborough, and Chelmsford. Its farthest upstream tributary is Beaver Brook, originating in Wolf Swamp in Boxborough, 22 miles (35 km) upstream (southwest) of the mouth of Stony Brook in the Merrimack. Beaver Brook passes through Mill Pond in the center of Littleton and ends at Forge Pond at Forge Village in Westford. Stony Brook originates as the dammed outlet of Forge Pond and continues northeast past Graniteville, the Stony Brook Reservoir (not to be confused with the Stony Brook Reservoir in Weston and Waltham), Westford Station, Nabnasset, Brookside Station, and West Chelmsford, reaching the Merrimack at North Chelmsford.Stony Brook is parallel through its course by the Stony Brook Railroad.

The North Town Hall is one of two historic 19th-century town halls in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. Located at 31 Princeton Street, near the North Chelmsford village center, it is a 2+1⁄2-story wood-frame structure with Greek Revival styling. It was built in 1853, and was used, alternating with the Centre Town Hall, for town meetings until 1885. It was thereafter used as a community meeting hall and polling station, a role it served until 1967, when the town moved its school administration offices there. In 2011 the building underwent a full restoration, and is again used as a community center. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

North Chelmsford is an unincorporated village in the town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, United States. Although North Chelmsford has its own zip code (01863), library, post office, fire station, water district, and local calling area, it is otherwise run by the same local town government and shares a school district with Chelmsford. North Chelmsford is smaller and more densely populated than neighboring Chelmsford. North Chelmsford's separate identity, though not a seriously debated issue, is still a topic of discussion - the Lowell Sun ran an article on August 7, 2005 titled "Chelmsford's civil war still raging on."

The Jerathmell Bowers House is believed to have built circa 1673, at 150 Wood Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. It is the oldest known home in Lowell. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Chelmsford () is a town in Massachusetts, United States. Established in 1655, it is located 24 miles (39 km) northwest of Boston. The Chelmsford militia played a role in the American Revolution at the Battle of Lexington and Concord and the Battle of Bunker Hill. Chelmsford was incorporated in May 1655 by an act of the Massachusetts General Court. When Chelmsford was incorporated, its local economy was fueled by lumber mills, limestone quarries and kilns. The farming community of East Chelmsford was incorporated as Lowell in the 1820s; over the next decades it would go on to become one of the first large-scale factory towns in the United States because of its early role in the country's Industrial Revolution. Chelmsford experienced a drastic increase in population between 1950 and 1970, coinciding with the connection of U.S. Route 3 in Lowell to Massachusetts Route 128 in the 1950s and the extension of U.S. Route 3 from Chelmsford to New Hampshire in the 1960s. Chelmsford has a representative town meeting form of government. The current town manager is Paul Cohen. The town has one public high school—Chelmsford High School, which is ranked among the top 500 schools in the nation—as well as two middle schools, and four elementary schools. The charter middle school started in Chelmsford became a regional charter school (Innovation Academy Charter School) covering grades 5 through 12, now located in Tyngsborough. Chelmsford high school age students also have the option of attending the Nashoba Valley Technical High School, located in Westford. In 2011, Chelmsford was declared the 28th best place to live in the United States by Money magazine.

The Islamic Society of Greater Lowell (ISGL) is a mosque in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, which also serves as a center for lectures and social activities, including a weekly school. The mosque was established in 1993.Vandals attempted to seal the mosque's door shut with cement in August 2007.

The Merrimack Valley Course was a temporary street circuit in Lowell, Massachusetts. The 10.6 mile track hosted its first races in 1908 and was on the 1909 AAA Championship Car schedule. Due to financial losses, racing was discontinued after that season.

The Chelmsford Glass Works' Long House is a historic tenement house at 139–141 Baldwin Street in Lowell, Massachusetts. The building, built in 1802 by the Chelmsford Glass Works to house some of its workers, is a series of 1–1/2 story Cape style wood-frame houses joined into a single structure. The building is one of the earliest industrial tenement structures built in the country. The glass works was established after the Middlesex Canal was opened, and needed to provide housing for its workers in what was then a somewhat rural location.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

The Chelmsford Center Historic District is a historic district encompassing the historic heart of the town of Chelmsford, Massachusetts. It extends from the town's central square in the east, where the intersection of Billerica Road and Chelmsford Street is located, west beyond the junction of Littleton and North Roads with Westford Street, and from there north along Worthen Road. It includes the area that was the 17th-century heart of the town, including its common and first burying ground, and has been the town's civic heart since its founding.The district was added to National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Greater Lowell Technical High School is a public vocational high school in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts, United States, part of the Greater Lowell area. The school was founded in 1967 as Lowell Trade School, and then later became Greater Lowell Regional Vocational Technical High School. The name was again changed to Greater Lowell Technical High School. The school serves the city of Lowell and the towns of Tyngsborough, Dracut, and Dunstable. Local nicknames for the school include "Gltech", "The Voc", and "The Tech". There are 23 technical programs available for students to choose from during their Freshman year at the school. An on-site restaurant is run by the Culinary Arts students, along with a Lowell 5 Bank that is run by the Marketing & Business Education students. Each student has a chance to obtain a Co-Op job during their junior and senior years at the school. A Co-Op job allows a student to directly participate in the workforce as opposed to attending school during their shop week. The majority of the student population at Greater Lowell are from the City of Lowell and the Town of Dracut. However, there are also numerous students from Tyngsborough and Dunstable. With nearly 2300 students, it is the largest vocational high school in Massachusetts and also one of the 10 largest high schools in the state.

The Jonathon Keyes Sr. House, also known incorrectly in town histories as the Solomon Keyes House, is a historic house at 16 Frances Hill Road in Westford, Massachusetts. It was probably built in the mid-18th century, and is one of the town's oldest surviving buildings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
