Athens, Vermont

The Windham-4 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan was developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census.

The Old Brick Church is a historic church building off Vermont Route 35 in Athens, Vermont. Built in 1817, it is a modest Federal style brick structure that served as a church and civic center into the 20th century. Architecturally it represents a transitional period, built with the furnishings (long since removed) of a typical 18th-century New England colonial meeting house, arranged on the long axis as was typical of 19th-century churches. It is now owned by the town, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Cambridgeport is an unincorporated village in the town of Rockingham, Windham County, Vermont, United States. The community is located at the intersection of Vermont routes 35 and 121, 2.7 miles (4.3 km) west-northwest of Saxtons River. Cambridgeport has a post office with ZIP code 05141.

The Mechanicsville Historic District encompasses a cluster of residential properties that are all that remain of one of the early industrial areas of Grafton, Vermont. Located a short way east of Grafton Village on Vermont Route 121, it includes ten well-preserved 19th-century properties, some located on properties where early mills once stood. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

The Kidder Covered Bridge carries Kidder Hill Road across the South Branch Saxtons River, just south of the village center of Grafton, Vermont. The bridge was built about 1870, and is Grafton's last surviving 19th-century covered bridge. It is the shortest historic covered bridge in Windham County, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Milldean and the Alexander-Davis House, also known as Eaglebrook and the Eagle Hotel, are a pair of historic houses on Main Street in the village center of Grafton, Vermont. Built c. 1826 and c. 1831, the two houses are statewide rare examples of a transitional Federal-Greek Revival style executed in brick. They are also historically significant for their association with Grafton's textile trade, which was economically important in the mid-19th century. The houses were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

Grafton Village Cheese Company is a cheesemaker in the town of Grafton in the U.S. state of Vermont. The company produces hand-crafted aged cheddar cheese.

Grafton is the central village and a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Grafton, Windham County, Vermont, United States. As of the 2020 census, it had a population of 49, compared to 645 in the entire town. The CDP is in northern Windham County, southeast of the center of Grafton. It sits in the valley of the Saxtons River, where it is joined by its South Branch. The Saxtons is an east-flowing tributary of the Connecticut River. Vermont Route 121 serves as Grafton's Main Street. It leads southeast 11 miles (18 km) to Bellows Falls on the Connecticut River and northwest 14 miles (23 km) to Londonderry. Vermont Route 35 (Chester Hill Road) runs north out of Grafton, leading 7 miles (11 km) to Chester. Route 35 joins Route 121 east out of Grafton but later turns south and leads a total of 14 miles (23 km) to Townshend.

The Grafton Public Library is a 19th-century library located in Grafton, Vermont in the historic Butterfield House. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

The Grafton District Schoolhouse No. 2, also known locally as the Old Fire Station, is a historic civic building at 217 Main Street in Grafton, Vermont. Built about 1835, it has served as a school, fire station, Masonic hall, tin shop, undertaker's shop, and as the clubhouse of a local brass band. Despite some alteration, it is a well-preserved example of a mid-19th century Greek Revival schoolhouse. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

The Grafton Post Office is a historic former post office building at 205 Main Street in Grafton, Vermont. Built in 1855 in the Greek Revival style, it was the town's post office for over 100 years, and served for a time thereafter as the local historical society museum. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. It is still owned by the historical society, but leased for commercial retail purposes.
