Long Island Pond (Plymouth, Massachusetts)

Beaver Dam Pond is a 30-acre (120,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The pond is located north of Little Island Pond, west of Fresh Pond, and east of the Pine Hills. The pond is the headwaters of Beaver Dam Brook. The water quality may be impaired due to discharge from developments in the watershed. Non-native plants in the watershed are being managed by the owners.

Great Island Pond, known officially as Island Pond, is a 77-acre (310,000 m2) pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts, one of three ponds known as Island Pond within the town (One is located near South Pond village, and the other is located in the Cedarville section of town). The pond is located in the eastern portion of The Pinehills development south of Little Island Pond. The Pinehills has a private sewer treatment facility near this pond, which was also formerly used as a holding facility by The Pine Hills LLC Golf Club until the spring of 2003. The Golf Club currently is permitted to withdraw water from four interceptor wells located between the sewer treatment facility and the pond.

Fresh Pond is a 62-acre (250,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The average depth is 12 feet (3.7 m) and the maximum depth is 30 feet (9.1 m). The southern shore of the pond is located in the Churchill Landing neighborhood, south of Manomet's business district and Manomet Bluffs, west of Fisherman's Landing, north of Cedar Bushes and Shallow Pond, and east of Beaver Dam Pond. Route 3A runs along the southeastern shore of the pond to its most southeastern point where it shoots away at a sharp curve known as the Brown Bear Curve, named after a defunct motel along the shore at that curve. A public beach, boat ramp, and a Native American burial site are located on the western shore of the pond on Bartlett Road, which has two intersections with Route 3A. The closer intersection is south of the Brown Bear Curve, while the other intersection is one mile (1.6 km) north, north of Manomet's business district. The pond is hydrologically associated with a cranberry bog operation located to the west of the pond. An unnamed brook (locally called "Hell's River" by some) heads west through the cranberry bog and ultimately leading to Beaver Dam Brook is the outflow of the pond.

Sacrifice Rock is a historic Wampanoag site in Plymouth, Massachusetts in the Pine Hills region, located in the northern section of The Pinehills residential project on Old Sandwich Road. The site is owned by the Plymouth Antiquarian Society. In 1928, Sacrifice Rock was given to the Antiquarian Society by Abbott A. Raymond. In 1940, cement posts were erected to mark the site. A commemorative stone marker was added about 1960. The marker was replaced by a metal plaque in 1991. The name of the rock reflects the practice of the Wampanoag of placing sticks and branches on the rock when leaving the area, known traditionally as Patuxet.

Briggs Reservoir is a 28-acre (110,000 m2) reservoir in Plymouth, Massachusetts located in the Manomet section of town south of Shallow Pond, southwest of Manomet Beach, northwest of Vallerville and northeast of Morey Hole. Indian Brook flows through the reservoir. There are two unnamed islands in the reservoir. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants and non-native fish in the reservoir. There is another Briggs Reservoir located within Plymouth's boundaries in Billington Sea village.

Shallow Pond is an 18-acre (73,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA. It is located south of Fresh Pond, north of Briggs Reservoir, southwest of Cedar Bushes and west of Manomet Beach. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants and nuisance exotic species.

The Pinehills is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the Pine Hills region of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. At the 2010 census, the population was 955. It includes a real estate development that bears the same name. As of 2008, the project is the largest new residential and commercial development in New England.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 mi² (2.9 km2), all land.

It is named for the Wampanoag village of Manomet located among the Manomet Ponds (the later site of the Manomet Ponds Praying Town). Morey Hole (also known as Morey's Hole), is a 22-acre (89,000 m2) pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts, west of Vallerville and Ship Pond, and southwest of Briggs Reservoir. Camp Child, a former summer camp run by the Old Colony Council of the Boy Scouts of America from 1925 through 1995, surrounds the pond.

Bartlett Pond is a 33-acre (130,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The inflow of the pond is Beaver Dam Brook, and the outflow is a river that empties into Cape Cod Bay. White Horse Beach nearly surrounds the pond, lying to the southwest, west and north. Manomet Heights lies on the eastern shore.

Priscilla Beach is a village of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. It consists of a private beach on Cape Cod Bay in the Manomet section of Plymouth, located between Pilgrim Station and White Horse Beach. The Priscilla Beach Association (PBA) was formed on July 17, 1937, to promote and foster the social and civic welfare of the residents and owners of real estate in Priscilla Beach. The PBA is dedicated to the protection, preservation, and improvement of Priscilla Beach as a private beach for the interest of the property owners in Priscilla Beach. Priscilla Beach Theatre, founded by Dr. Franklin Trask in 1937, it is the oldest barn theatre still in operation in the United States, and is located in Priscilla Beach.Manomet, the village of Plymouth in which Priscilla Beach is located, is especially well known for its Independence Day festivities, which here are traditionally celebrated on July 3.
