The Pinehills is a census-designated place (CDP) located in the Pine Hills region of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. At the 2010 census, the population was 955. It includes a real estate development that bears the same name. As of 2008, the project is the largest new residential and commercial development in New England.According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.1 mi² (2.9 km2), all land.

Long Island Pond, also known as Little Island Pond, is a 30-acre (120,000 m2) pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The pond is located in the eastern portion of The Pinehills development north of Great Island Pond and south of Beaver Dam Pond.

Forge Pond is a 14-acre (57,000 m2) pond in the Chiltonville section of Plymouth, Massachusetts, within the Eel River watershed. The pond's inflow and outflow is Shingle Brook, a tributary of the Eel River.

Beaver Dam Pond is a 30-acre (120,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The pond is located north of Little Island Pond, west of Fresh Pond, and east of the Pine Hills. The pond is the headwaters of Beaver Dam Brook. The water quality may be impaired due to discharge from developments in the watershed. Non-native plants in the watershed are being managed by the owners.

Plymouth South High School, also known as Plymouth South, or PSHS, is a public high school located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Its students are residents of the town of Plymouth. Plymouth South is one of two high schools in Plymouth, the other being Plymouth North High School. Plymouth South is located near the Long Pond neighborhood of Plymouth, west of Route 3 and The Pinehills development, and also adjacent to nearby Myles Standish State Forest, which is the biggest publicly owned recreation area in the South Shore region of Massachusetts, and also one of the biggest in the state. The school colors are Black, Teal and White and the school's teams are the Panthers.

Great Island Pond, known officially as Island Pond, is a 77-acre (310,000 m2) pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts, one of three ponds known as Island Pond within the town (One is located near South Pond village, and the other is located in the Cedarville section of town). The pond is located in the eastern portion of The Pinehills development south of Little Island Pond. The Pinehills has a private sewer treatment facility near this pond, which was also formerly used as a holding facility by The Pine Hills LLC Golf Club until the spring of 2003. The Golf Club currently is permitted to withdraw water from four interceptor wells located between the sewer treatment facility and the pond.

Pine Hills is a sparsely populated hilly region located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, in the United States. It is a large, mostly undeveloped hilly and forested area lying south of Plymouth Beach and Chiltonville, north of Manomet, and east of Route 3, where the southern portion of the region can be accessed from Exit 3 (which is signed as of 1 October 2007), and the northern portion can be accessed from Exit 4. The area rises from Plymouth Bay at Rocky Point, which is considered to be located in the foothills of the region, and runs southwest. Route 3A winds through the heart of the Pine Hills. The region consists of the Rocky Point neighborhood in the north and The Pinehills, a new residential and commercial development in the extreme southern part of the area.

Russell Millpond, also known as Russell Mill Pond, is a 42-acre (170,000 m2) pond in the Chiltonville village of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Fed by springs and water from cranberry bogs, the outflow of the pond is the Eel River. The water quality is impaired due to non-native aquatic plants in the pond.

Manomet is a seaside village of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. It is named for the Wampanoag village of Manomet located among the Manomet Ponds (the later site of the Manomet Ponds Praying Town). Manomet has a Post Office in the business district whose ZIP code is 02345. Residents and businesses in this village that are non-Post Office box holders use Plymouth's ZIP code of 02360. Manomet is also home to Manomet Center for Conservation Sciences, a global conservation and sustainability nonprofit organization.

Fresh Pond is a 62-acre (250,000 m2) pond in the Manomet section of Plymouth, Massachusetts. The average depth is 12 feet (3.7 m) and the maximum depth is 30 feet (9.1 m). The southern shore of the pond is located in the Churchill Landing neighborhood, south of Manomet's business district and Manomet Bluffs, west of Fisherman's Landing, north of Cedar Bushes and Shallow Pond, and east of Beaver Dam Pond. Route 3A runs along the southeastern shore of the pond to its most southeastern point where it shoots away at a sharp curve known as the Brown Bear Curve, named after a defunct motel along the shore at that curve. A public beach, boat ramp, and a Native American burial site are located on the western shore of the pond on Bartlett Road, which has two intersections with Route 3A. The closer intersection is south of the Brown Bear Curve, while the other intersection is one mile (1.6 km) north, north of Manomet's business district. The pond is hydrologically associated with a cranberry bog operation located to the west of the pond. An unnamed brook (locally called "Hell's River" by some) heads west through the cranberry bog and ultimately leading to Beaver Dam Brook is the outflow of the pond.

Little Long Pond is a 19-acre (77,000 m2) pond in Plymouth, Massachusetts, north of Long Pond and Gallows Pond. The outflow of this pond is a stream that feeds into Long Pond.There is another Little Long Pond partially within Plymouth's borders located east of the southeasternmost point of Myles Standish State Forest.

South Plymouth is the portion of Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States that covers much of the southern section of the town beginning at the Pine Hills, a large, mostly undeveloped forested area south of Plymouth Beach, Chiltonville and South Pond. The remainder of the section is south and east of the northeastern entrance to Myles Standish State Forest, stretching to the Bourne and Wareham town lines.
