Ichstedt (German pronunciation: [ˈɪçʃtɛt]) is a village and a former municipality in the district Kyffhäuserkreis, in Thuringia, Germany. Since 1 January 2019, it is part of the town Bad Frankenhausen. The village was mentioned in a charter of Louis the German in 874 for the first time. The village was once a moated castle, which was located on the site of the later manor. By 1918, the town belonged to the principality of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt.

It is located at the right side of the river Unstrut, between the towns of Heldrungen and Artern. It has a station on the Sangerhausen–Erfurt railway line, where a now-decommissioned line once branched off to Bad Frankenhausen and Sondershausen.

Tilleda is located at the northern rim of the Kyffhäuser mountain range with the Kyffhäuser Monument, located in neighbouring Thuringia. The population is about 900. Tilleda is notable mainly for having been the site of a medieval Royal palace or Pfalz which has been partially excavated and reconstructed.
