North Bay Boulevard is a 2.34-kilometer-long (1.45 mi) two- to four-lane access road in the Navotas Fish Port Complex of northern Metro Manila, Philippines. It is one of the main roads in Navotas which travels north-south through the southern parts of the city running parallel to Radial Road 10 (R-10) to the west. The road links the Balut area of Tondo in Manila and San Rafael Village in the south to the central Navotas barangay of Bagumbayan South in the north. It was named after its location in Manila Bay north of the Manila North Harbor complex.

The Tullahan River is a river in the Philippines. It is located to the north of Manila and has an approximate length of 27.1 kilometers (16.8 mi). It starts at the La Mesa Reservoir in Quezon City and flows through Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela. and Navotas and empties into Manila Bay. In 2019, San Miguel Corporation pledged ₱1 billion for the cleanup of the Tullahan River as part of the Manila Bay rehabilitation effort.

The battle of Caloocan was one of the opening engagements of the Philippine–American War, and was fought between a U.S. force under the command of Arthur MacArthur Jr. and Filipino defenders commanded by Antonio Luna in 1899. American troops launched a successful attack on the Filipino-held settlement of Caloocan on February 10, which was part of an offensive planned by MacArthur Jr. Coming soon after an American victory near Manila just a few days prior, the battle once again demonstrated the military superiority enjoyed by U.S. forces over Filipino troops, yet it was not the decisive strike that MacArthur had hoped for, and the war continued to rage on for another three years. From 1896 to 1898, Filipino revolutionaries waged an armed revolution against Spanish colonial rule. Despite providing assistance to the revolutionaries, the United States decided to annex the Philippines in the 1898 Treaty of Paris. On February 4, American troops fired on a Filipino detachment, sparking a war between the U.S. and the Philippine Republic. In the following days, American commanders in the region made plans to attack Caloocan. On February 10, American forces launched a three-hour bombardment of the settlement; immediately afterwards, a large U.S. force advanced towards Caloocan. Aided by a surprise attack, the American forces successfully stormed the city. The capture of Caloocan placed sections of the Manila-Dagupan Railroad along with large amounts of rolling stock into the hands of U.S. forces. However, as the majority of Filipino forces were able to retreat intact and were soon able to regroup elsewhere, the battle did not have the decisive impact that American commanders had initially hoped for. On February 22, Filipino forces launched an attack on American positions on Manila, but were forced to withdraw after two days of fighting. Later, allegations that U.S. forces had summarily executed Filipino prisoners of war during the battle were investigated by a Senate Committee on the Philippines, which chose not to pursue the matter further.

Westminster High School (simplified Chinese: 培元中学; traditional Chinese: 培元中學; pinyin: Péiyuán Zhōngxué; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Pôe-goân Tiong-o̍h / Pôe-oân Tiong-o̍h; acronym: WHS), founded by Madam Elizabeth Kho in 1935, is a private, Chinese, Christian educational institution in Manila, Philippines. It has a sister-school under the same name in Taiwan. Since the 1930s, the school had been offering Chinese courses from kindergarten up to high school, however, in 2001, it abolished the Chinese curriculum and ceased from participating in sports competitions with other Chinese schools in Metro Manila. As a result, the student population of Chinese and Filipino-Chinese has declined steadily over the years. Recently, under the new management, the school refurbished its facilities, adopted the Singaporean Math method to its curriculum, and reintroduced Chinese language classes to its students.

The Navotas Centennial Park is a waterfront park in Navotas, Philippines, facing Manila Bay. It is the largest open space in the city and is Camanava or Northern Manila District's version of the Baywalk. A popular jogging, strolling and skating spot among local residents, the park runs along the waterfront from the R-10 Bridge (also known as Bangkulasi Bridge) to the Navotas Bus Terminal, just off Circumferential Road 4 in Bagumbayan North. The park was opened on January 16, 2006 during the celebration of the 100th Founding Anniversary of the municipality of Navotas. It was built on the site of a former garbage transfer station during the term of Mayor Toby Tiangco who described the project as "garbage turned into gold." The park hosts a variety of activities and local government celebrations throughout the year, including the annual Pangisdaan Festival commemorating the founding anniversary of the "Fishing Capital of the Philippines", and the Bangkang de Sagwan race launched by Mayor John Rey Tiangco in January 2017.The park is lined with palm trees and lamp posts, and has several bleachers near the park's entrance facing Manila Bay. It also features a two-way ramp and a stock room built in 2014. The park hosts aerobics and taebo sessions on weekends and is also a popular venue for outdoor concerts. In February 2017, the Navotas City Government in partnership with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority launched a carless weekend program and designated the Navotas Centennial Park as a family zone where residents and visitors can enjoy the outdoors as a community free from pollution and vehicular traffic.

The Tondo Medical Center, also known as Tondo Med, is a 300-bed capacity tertiary public medical center established in 1971, under the supervision and control of the Department of Health (DOH). It is located on North Bay Boulevard, Tondo, Manila, Philippines. Tondo Med has eight hospital departments, all of which are currently accredited with their respective specialty societies except for EENT and Radiology which are still in the process of accreditation with the DOH.

Smokey Mountain was the term coined for a large landfill once located in Tondo, Manila.

Caloocan, officially the City of Caloocan (Filipino: Lungsod ng Caloocan; IPA: [kalɔʔokan]), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in Metropolitan Manila, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 1,661,584 people  making it the fourth-most populous city in the Philippines. Caloocan is divided into two geographical locations with a total combined area of 5,333.40 hectares (13,179.1 acres). It was formerly part of the Province of Rizal of the Philippines' Southern Luzon Region. It comprises what is known as the CAMANAVA area along with cities Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela. South Caloocan is bordered by Manila, Quezon City, Malabon, Navotas and Valenzuela. Presence of commercial and industrial activities combined with residential areas make it a highly urbanized central business district and a major urban center in the Northern District of Metropolitan Manila. North Caloocan shares its border with Quezon City and Valenzuela, Marilao, Meycauayan and San Jose del Monte in the province of Bulacan, and Rodriguez in the province of Rizal. It is composed of mostly residential subdivisions and extensive resettlement areas with scattered distribution of industrial estates mostly within road transit points and intersections.

The Caloocan–Malabon–Navotas (CAMANA) Water Reclamation Facility is a sewage treatment plant under-construction in Caloocan, Metro Manila, Philippines. If completed, it will become the largest sewage treatment plant in the Philippines with a capacity to process 205 million liters (54,000,000 U.S. gal) of used water daily.The groundbreaking ceremony for the CAMANA Water Reclamation Facility project of Manila Water was held in November 2019, but actual construction was announced to have started in March 2021. The project is an expansion of the existing 26 MLD Dagat-Dagatan Sewage Treatment Plant which was built in the 1980s. Manila Water contracted DM Consunji Inc. (DMCI) to work on the expansion. Japanese firm JFE Engineering Corporation is also involved in the project.The sewage treatment plant is intended to serve the southern exclave of Caloocan, Malabon and Navotas which is within the scope of Manila Water's west zone. It is expected to become operational in 2024.

Paterio Aquino Avenue is the main street in Malabon, northern Metro Manila, Philippines. It runs from Caloocan beginning at the intersection with C-4 Road and terminating at F. Sevilla Boulevard at the Malabon City Hall roundabout. It is named for Paterio Aquino, who served as municipal mayor of Malabon from 1946 to 1951 and from 1956 to 1959. The street is sometimes called Letre Road, named for the old barrio in Malabon through which it passes. The section west of Tonsuya Bridge in Barangays San Agustin and Tañong in Malabon is alternatively named as Rizal Avenue Extension. This six-lane undivided street houses several notable Malabon establishments including the Malabon City Hall, San Bartolome Church, St. James Academy, Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, and Pescadores Restaurant. It is included in the list of most flood-prone areas in the metropolis by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority.The street was formerly part of the Manila Circumferential Road (Route 54 / Highway 54) from the 1940s to 1950s.

Malabon Church is a Roman Catholic church located in San Agustin, Malabon, Metro Manila, Philippines. The church's titular is Malabon's patron saint, Saint Bartholomew the Apostle whose feast day falls on every 24th day of August.

Malabon, officially the City of Malabon (Filipino: Lungsod ng Malabon), is a 1st class highly urbanized city in the National Capital Region of the Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 380,522 people.Located just north of the city of Manila, it is primarily a residential and industrial area, and is one of the most densely populated cities in the metropolis. It has a total land area of 15.96 square kilometers (6.16 sq mi). Malabon is part of the sub-region of Metro Manila informally called CAMANAVA, an area which derives its name from the first syllable of its component cities: Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela. Caloocan lies to the south and east, Navotas to the west, and Valenzuela to the north. Malabon also borders the town of Obando in the province of Bulacan to the northwest.
