Kyūhōjiguchi Station (久宝寺口駅, Kyūhōjiguchi-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Yao, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kintetsu Railway.

Kindai University (Japanese: 近畿大学, Hepburn: Kinki daigaku) is a private non-sectarian and coeducational university based in Higashiosaka, Osaka, Japan with campuses in five other locations: Nara, Nara; Ōsakasayama, Osaka; Uchita, Wakayama; Higashihiroshima, Hiroshima; and Iizuka, Fukuoka. The English name of the university had been Kinki University since its establishment in 1949 to refer to "the surrounding area of the capital city (Kyoto)". On May 20, 2014, the university announced that its English name would officially change to Kindai (近大), to avoid the implications of the word "kinky", as the university was planning to globalize with the establishment of a new Foreign Language school. The name change took effect on April 1, 2016.

The Keichō–Fushimi earthquake (Japanese: 慶長伏見地震, Hepburn: Keicho–Fushimi Jishin) struck Japan on September 5, 1596. The earthquake measuring 7.5 ± 0.25 MJMA produced intense shaking (evaluated at Shindo 6) across the Kansai region. Devastation was recorded in Kyoto and over 1,200 people perished.

Shoin-Higashi Women's Junior College (樟蔭東女子短期大学, Shōin higashi joshi tanki daigaku) was a private women's junior college in Osaka, Osaka, Japan. The precursor of the school was founded in 1937, and it was chartered as a university in 1966. Closed down in 2015

Shin-Kami Station (新加美駅, Shin-Kami-eki) is a railway station on the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Osaka Higashi Line in Hirano-ku, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The station is not treated as "a station in Osaka City (大阪市内の駅)" for JR tickets. Although they are only 150 metres (490 ft) apart, Kami Station and Shin-Kami Station are not regarded as interchange stations.

Shuntokumichi Station (俊徳道駅, Shuntokumichi-eki) is a passenger railway station in located in the city of Higashiōsaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Kintetsu Railway. It is adjacent to, but not connected with, the JR West JR-Shuntokumichi Station.

Kami Station (加美駅, Kami-eki) is a train station on the West Japan Railway Company (JR West) Yamatoji Line (Kansai Main Line electrified section) in Hirano-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. However, there is no connection with Shin-Kami Station on the Osaka Higashi Line.
