The Engineering & Technologies Academy (ETA) is a public engineering based magnet high school located at Theodore Roosevelt High School, in San Antonio, Texas. The Engineering and Technologies Academy has various engineering and science related curriculum such as manufacturing, communication graphics, principles of engineering, drafting and computer-Aided design, GIS, and information technologies. Students also have the ability to partake in off-campus internships related to various fields of engineering. ETA was founded in 2004 by former director William Sturgis and former UTSA professor Richard Howe. ETA enrolled 97 freshman for 2009–2010. The majority of students at ETA participate in competitions in organizations such as FIRST, the Technology Student Association, and the University Interscholastic League. Some of the program's students are employed as interns at businesses such as Southwest Research Institute, Rackspace, and Zachry Construction Corporation.

It offers technology-oriented curricula including architecture, graphic design, 3D animation, traditional art, digital art, and video production. The school is part of the North East Independent School District, which serves portions of San Antonio and the City of Windcrest. Rosillo Creek begins approximately 0.5 miles north of FM 1976, in northeastern Bexar County, Texas, within the city limits of Windcrest, Texas, and flows southwestward for 18 miles through the Rosillo Creek Basin. The creek has an elevation ranging from 265 meters above sea level, to 155 meters above sea level. The vegetation of the basin is mostly mesquite trees and grasses. Rosillo Creek empties into Salado Creek in southeastern Bexar County.

Windsor Park Mall was a shopping mall located on the northeast side of San Antonio, Texas, off Interstate 35 and Walzem Road. It opened in 1976 and closed in 2005. In 2007, the building, of which ownership was transferred to the suburb of Windcrest, Texas, became the new corporate headquarters of Rackspace, a Web hosting company. Their redevelopment of the mall structure, now known as "The Castle", has sparked a redevelopment of the surrounding area.

Fratt, Texas was a flag station and settlement in northeastern Bexar County, Texas, near the intersections of Interstate 35 and Loop 410 in San Antonio on the city's northeast side. It was founded shortly before 1900, and in the 1930s had amenities such as a store and church. The population had declined to 25 people by the late 1940s, and by the 1960s was so depopulated that it was no longer found on maps.

Longhorn is a census-designated place in Bexar County, Texas, U.S.A. Longhorn was a company owned village or town owned by the Longhorn Cement Company created for employee housing in a distant community far north from San Antonio. The community once had its own store, post office and baseball field. Since then San Antonio has expanded north to completely surround what was company property. The village was vacated, closed down and abandoned when the company closed. The area no longer appears on maps, and is totally integrated into the City of San Antonio.

Morgan's Wonderland is a 25-acre (10 ha) non-profit accessible theme park in San Antonio, Texas for guests of all ages and abilities. The park, which opened in 2010 on the site of the former Longhorn Quarry, was developed by Gordon Hartman, a former homebuilder from San Antonio; his daughter Morgan, who deals with cognitive and physical challenges, inspired creation of the park. Morgan's Wonderland is the first theme park of its kind in the world and has welcomed more than a million guests from all 50 states and 71 countries. Completely wheelchair accessible, the $34 million park features more than 25 elements and attractions including rides, playgrounds, gardens, an 8-acre (3.2 ha) catch-and-release fishing lake, 18,000 sq ft (1,700 m2) special-event center, 575-seat amphitheater, picnic area and rest areas throughout the park. The organization's mission statement is: “To provide a safe, clean and beautiful environment free of physical and economic barriers that all individuals – regardless of age, special need or disability – can come to and enjoy,” and is often accompanied by the motto, “Where Everyone Can Play!” Admission for guests with special needs is free; and admission fees for accompanying family members, friends, caregivers and the general public are nominal.

Toyota Field is a soccer-specific stadium in San Antonio, Texas, United States. Located next to Heroes Stadium, and adjacent to the STAR Soccer Complex and Morgan's Wonderland, the facility opened on April 13, 2013. The stadium is the home of San Antonio FC and has a capacity of 8,296 for soccer matches and 13,000 for concerts and festivals. The stadium was the home of the San Antonio Scorpions of the North American Soccer League until the team's dissolution following the 2015 season. The stadium is expandable to 18,000+ seating capacity in three phases and is currently built to its Phase 1 design. Toyota Motor Corporation currently holds the sponsor naming rights for the facility.

Heroes Stadium is an 11,000-seat, open style football stadium serving the public school district North East ISD in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It opened in 2009, built on the 58-acre (230,000 m2) site of the abandoned Longhorn Quarry, and has 2,525 paved parking spaces. $27.5 million of funding was provided by a 2007 school district bond. A video board system measuring 15 by 25 ft (4.6 by 7.6 m) was installed in 2010. Along with Comalander Stadium, Heroes is the home venue for the football, track and field, soccer, and band events for the high schools in the North East Independent School District, and also plays host to various athletic events for the district's middle and elementary schools. The stadium received national exposure on August 27, 2010, when it held a game between local Madison Mavericks and Steele Knights of Cibolo. The game was televised by ESPN, as part of its High School Rise Kickoff Event.The venue hosted the San Antonio Scorpions in their inaugural 2012 NASL season. The team played at the site to an average attendance of 9,176, including a couple of sellout crowds, while their stadium, Toyota Field, was being completed.

The South Texas Area Regional Soccer Complex is a 13 field soccer venue in San Antonio, Texas, United States. It is used primarily for youth club soccer and adult league soccer. It is located in the former Longhorn Quarry, adjacent to Toyota Field, and Morgan's Wonderland, and near Heroes Stadium. Toyota Field was originally owned and operated by S.O.A.R. Inc., a non-profit organization founded by Gordon Hartman. The complex was affiliated with the San Antonio Scorpions of the North American Soccer League, also owned by Hartman. On December 22, 2015, it was announced that Toyota Field and S.T.A.R. Soccer Complex were sold to the City of San Antonio and Bexar County.

The studios and offices are on San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio and the transmitter is off Lookout Road, near Interstate 35.
