Rietz

Telfs is a market town in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol, 27 kilometres (17 miles) west of Innsbruck. It is the third largest municipality in Tyrol. Telfs received its status in 1908 and maintains its own district court.

Pfaffenhofen (German pronunciation: [pfafn̩ˈhoːfn̩] ) is a municipality in the district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol located 22 km west of Innsbruck and 1.7 km south of Telfs. The village was mentioned in documents in 1197 for the first time.

The Rietzer Grießkogel (also: Grieskogel) is a mountain, 2,884 m (AA), and the highest peak in the Northern Sellrain Mountains, part of the Stubai Alps in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The summit is easily climbed on path no. 153. The first documented ascent was undertaken in 1829 by Innsbruck botanist, Andrä Sauter, a brother of Anton Sauter. As a result of its easy accessibility on well marked paths from Telfs in the Inn Valley and from the Sellrain Valley, it is a popular destination. Its name is derived from the village of Rietz at its northern foot in the district of Imst in the upper Inn valley.

The Eyüp-Sultan-Mosque is a mosque in the town of Telfs, Tyrol, Austria. It was inaugurated in the year 1998, in response to the growing Muslim community in the Tyrolean region. It was funded by donations from the local Muslim community and support from international Islamic organizations.

Oberhofen im Inntal is a municipality in the western district of Innsbruck-Land in the Austrian state of Tyrol located 21 km west of Innsbruck and 2.6 km east of Telfs. Once a part of Pfaffenhofen it became an own municipality in 1786.

The Mieming(er) Range, Mieminger Chain (German: Mieminger Kette) or Mieminger Mountains (Mieminger Gebirge), is a mountain range of the Northern Limestone Alps in the Eastern Alps. It is located entirely in Austria within the state of Tyrol. This sub-group is somewhat in the shadows of its more famous neighbour, the Wetterstein to the north. Whilst the region around the Coburger Hut and the lakes of Seebensee and Drachensee in the west (Ehrwalder Sonnenspitze and Vorderer Tajakopf with its new klettersteig over the Tajakante) and the Hohe Munde in the extreme east receive large numbers of visitors, the less developed central area remains very quiet. The Hohe Munde is also a popular and challenging ski touring destination. Public transport links: The Außerfern Railway stops at Ehrwald on the western side of the range. Busses run from Leutasch on the southern side of the mountains to Mittenwald and Seefeld in Tirol.

Flaurling is a municipality in the district Innsbruck country in Tyrol (Austria). It lies in the Inn valley between Innsbruck and Telfs south of the Inn River. The municipality consists of the areas: Flaurling village, Flaurling station with a commercial district and Flaurlingberg at the western foothills of a low mountain range terrace. It was mentioned documentarily for the first time as "Flurininga" in the year 763.

Wankspitze (elevation 2,208 m (7,244 ft)) is a summit of the Mieming Range in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It separates the Griessspitzen to the north from the Mieming Plateau to the south.

Wildmoos is an area in the central Inn valley in North Tyrol and a village in the municipality of Telfs in the district of Innsbruck Land.
