Abiko Station (Osaka)

Abikochō Station (我孫子町駅, Abikochō-eki) is a railway station on the West Japan Railway Company Hanwa Line in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.

Saneiwork Sumiyoshi Sports Center is an arena in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Japan. It is the former home arena of the Osaka Evessa of the B.League, Japan's professional basketball league.

Osaka City University (OCU) (大阪市立大学, Ōsaka shiritsu daigaku), abbreviated to Ichidai or Shidai (市大), is a public university in Japan. It is located in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka. It is one of the most prestigious universities in Japan regarding Applied Linguistics. The university will merge with Osaka Prefecture University to form Osaka Metropolitan University (OMU) in April 2022.

Sugimotochō Station (杉本町駅, Sugimotochō-eki) is a railway station on the West Japan Railway Company Hanwa Line in Sugimoto Sanchome, Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.

Sumiyoshi-ku (住吉区) is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It is located on the southern part of the Uemachi Plateau, in the southernmost part of Osaka City, and is separated from Sakai City's Sakai-ku and Kita-ku by the Yamato River. There are six rail lines, and three main thoroughfares - Abiko-Suji (which run north–south through the centre of the ward), Abeno-Suji (which continues north through the area of Tennoji) and Nagai Koen-Dori, which runs east–west and connects the area with the port to the west. The northern part of Sumiyoshi-ku is a residential area which is a continuation of the southern part of Abeno-ku. The Tezukayama 1-Chome neighbourhood in Abeno-ku, and Tezukayama-naka and Tezukayama-nishi neighbourhoods in Sumiyoshi-ku are upper-class residential areas. South of this, around the Sumiyoshi Grand Shrine, are the Sumiyoshi and Kamisumiyoshi neighbourhoods, home to many long established local families. Surrounding these are the middle-class residential neighbourhoods of Shimizugaoka, Suminoe, Oriono, Dairyo, Minamisumiyoshi, Yamanouchi, and Nagai, which lies at the eastern end of the ward. Sumiyoshi-ku is home to about 157,000 residents, and has a population density of 16,800 people per square kilometer.

Educational Foundation Baekdu Hagwon Keonguk (Korean: 오사카백두학원, Japanese: 白頭学院 建国 Hakutō Gakuin Kenkoku - Keonguk/Kenkoku means "country-building"; Japanese name means "Hakuto School"), is a South Korean international school located in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka. It serves kindergarten through high school. It is recognized by the government of Osaka Prefecture as an Article 1 private school under the School Education Act.The Keonguk Industrial School and Keonguk Higher Girls' School of the Baekdu Association were founded in March 1946.

The Yanmar Field Nagai (ヤンマーフィールド長居) is an athletics stadium, also used as the support stadium for the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Nagai Park, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Japan. The Aid Stadium, occasionally called The Second Nagai Stadium allows the bigger stadium to host world class athletic events. It seats 15,000 with overflow room on a grass hill. It was formerly known as Osaka Nagai Second Stadium. Since March 2014 it has been called Yanmar Field Nagai for the naming rights. The Aid Stadium is home to Sagawa Express Osaka SC and occasionally Cerezo Osaka from 2006 to 2007.

The Nagai Botanical Garden (大阪市立長居植物園, Ōsaka Shiritsu Nagai Shokubutsuen) is a botanical garden in the southeast corner of Nagai Park, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Japan. An admission fee is charged. The garden contains the Osaka Museum of Natural History as well as a 1,000 species collection of flowers and trees around a central pond.

Osaka Museum of Natural History (大阪市立自然史博物館, Ōsaka-shi-ritsu Shizen-shi Hakubutsukan) is a museum of natural history in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Ōsaka, Japan.

Nagai Park (長居公園, Nagai kōen) is a large sports complex located in Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka. Its facilities include three multipurpose sports stadia, including 50,000-seat Nagai Stadium, a baseball field, Nagai Botanical Garden, which boasts over 1,000 species of trees and flowers, a swimming pool and gymnasium, and a tract of preserved local forest. It also hosts a large number of cherry trees, and is a popular area for picnics during cherry blossom (Sakura) season in early spring.

Abikomae Station (我孫子前駅, Abikomae-eki) is a railway station in Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka, Osaka Prefecture, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Nankai Electric Railway.

Nagai Stadium (大阪市 長居陸上競技場, Ōsaka-shi Nagai Rikujō Kyōgijō), a.k.a the Yanmar Stadium Nagai (Japanese: ヤンマースタジアム長居) for sponsorship reasons, is a stadium in Osaka, Japan. It is the home ground of J. League club Cerezo Osaka. The stadium has a seating capacity of 47,000. The rugby union club NTT DoCoMo Red Hurricanes Osaka use the venue for most of their home games.
