WELP (1360 AM) is a religious radio station located in Easley, South Carolina. The station is licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to broadcast with 5,000 watts of power during the day and 36 watts at night.

Clear View High School was a segregated all-black high school for Black Students in Pickens County, South Carolina. It was closed in 1969 and the students redirected to Easley High School when Federal courts mandated that public schools must be integrated. Many Black residents strongly objected to the Closure of Clear View, and U.S. Representative William Jennings Bryan Dorn took up the cause with the HEW. The location later became known as the J.T. Simpson Alternative school and is now the site of the Pickens County Head Start program and the Dream Center.

Easley Mill is a historic mill complex in Easley, South Carolina. The mill was the first of three built in Easley between 1899 and 1910. The main building was completed in 1900, and is a four-story brick structure designed by preeminent mill architects Lockwood, Greene & Co. It was built during a boom in the textile industry across the Southern United States; more than 70 mills were opened in South Carolina alone between 1895 and 1903. The mill met with immediate success, including large shipments for export to China. By 1907, the mill contained over 37,000 spindles and 1,000 looms, and employed 500. It was sold to Woodside Mills of Greenville in 1920, and to Dan River, Inc. in 1956, who operated the mill until 1990. The mill has a shallow-pitched hip roof with bracketed eaves. Most of the arched window openings have been bricked over. Other structures on the site include a one-story office building, a warehouse, smokestack, an ice house, water tower, and monument to the mill's founder, John Mattison Geer. The mill was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. A proposal was made to convert the building to apartments in 2019.

Easley High School Auditorium is a historic building built in 1909 in Easley, South Carolina and now on the National Register of Historic Places. It is historically significant for its long association with education and civic life in Easley in the first half of the 20th century. The building served as Easley's first and only high school from 1909 to 1940 and was central to the early experience and training of almost every local resident of that period.

Easley is a city in Pickens County (with parts extending into Anderson County) in the U.S. state of South Carolina. Most of the city lies in Pickens County, with a small portion of the city in Anderson County. In 2001, Easley hosted the Big League World Series for the first time, and continued to host the tournament annually until it was disbanded in 2016. In 2017, the Senior League World Series moved to Easley as the host for the annual tournament. The Upper South Carolina State Fair is located in Easley and is held annually in early September.

Glassy Mountain is a mountain close to Pickens, South Carolina, USA, in northwestern South Carolina, with a summit elevation of 1,703 feet (519 m) above mean sea level. While it is an isolated monadnock, it is still close to the Blue Ridge, providing views of nearby summits such as Table Rock and Caesar's Head as well as Greenville. The mountain gets its name from a large, bare, granite face on its north side. At the top of this rock face are small springs that trickle down the mountain, giving it a "glassy" appearance in the sun. It is easily accessible, as a small service road for transmitter towers leads to the summit. Local high schoolers often paint the rock face with graduation years. These year numbers can be so large as to be seen on aerial imaging of the mountain This mountain is often confused with another Glassy Mountain located in Greenville County, South Carolina, which is nearby. Glassy Mountain in Greenville County has a higher elevation of 2,782 feet and is not a monadnock as it is connected to other mountains. It is also home to the Cliffs at Glassy Mountain golf course community. In 1990, owners Pat McCoy and Thomas Atkinson sold Glassy Mountain to the South Carolina Heritage Trust Program, which designated it Glass Mountain Heritage Preserve.

Williams–Ligon House, also known as Cedar Rock Plantation and Magnolia Estates, is a historic home and farm complex located Easley, Pickens County, South Carolina. The house was built in 1895, and is a two-story, frame I-house with a one-story rear addition. It features Folk Victorian decorative elements including spindle work and turned porch posts and balusters and brackets. Also on the property are a contributing barn that was the original Williams house (c. 1875), a smokehouse, and several mid-20th century barns and farm buildings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Griffin-Christopher House is a historic home located Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was built in 1887, and is a two-story, frame "L"-plan, I-house with a two-story rear addition. It features a two-tiered full-height front and side porches with Folk Victorian decorative elements including jig-saw cut wood trim.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.

Liberty Colored High School is a former high school for African-American students in Liberty, South Carolina during the period of racial segregation. It originally was called Liberty Colored Junior High School. The building is now a community center known as the Rosewood Center. It is at East Main Street (South Carolina Highway 93) and Rosewood Street in Liberty. The school was built in 1937 on the site of a Rosenwald school that had burned down.Because of its role in the education of local African-American students, it was named to the National Register of Historic Places on April 18, 2003.

Easley High School (EHS) is a public high school in Easley, South Carolina, founded in 1909. The original auditorium is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Old Pickens Jail, also known as Pickens County Jail, is a historic jail located at Pickens, Pickens County, South Carolina. It was built in 1903, and is a two-story, brick building with a two-story crenellated tower. It was expanded in 1928 to provide additional space for the cellblock. The jail closed in August 1975, and has since been used as a historical museum and art gallery.This building gained infamy when Willie Earle was forcefully removed from the Pickens County Jail by a mob on February 16, 1947. When confronted by the mob, the jailer's response was: "I guess you boys know what you're doing." Willie Earle was subsequently lynched nearby in Greenville County, SC.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Hagood-Mauldin House is a property listed on the National Register of Historic Places located in Pickens, South Carolina. The house was originally constructed for James Earle Hagood ca.1856 in the town of Old Pickens but in 1868 when the Pickens District was divided into Oconee County and Pickens County, the house was disassembled, boards and beams numbered, and reassembled at its present location in the town of Pickens.The original house was constructed with log beams and joists pegged together. The exterior was sided with slat boards and the roof was constructed with cedar wood shingles on open wood slats. The first addition to the house was made shortly after it was moved in 1868, when a dining room connected to the rear kitchen house, separated by a breezeway, was constructed. A second addition in 1886 expanded the front parlor and rear dining room and also created a covered side entry porch, a bathroom on the north side of the house and added new fireplaces serve the new rooms. A third addition was made in 1904 which expanded the front porch to include a covered driveway as well as enhancing the interior living spaces with Victorian trimwork and drywall. A wood parapet was added to the porch and the fluted Ionic columns were added, creating the Classical Revival style of the house that still remains.The house was owned by James Earle Hagood, a clerk for the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina until his death in 1904. It was then owned by his daughter, Frances Hagood Mauldin and her husband, Judge Thomas Joab Mauldin who completed the 1904 addition and built a matching building on the property used as a law office.The house is now home to the Irma Morris Museum of Fine Arts and is owned by the Pickens County Historical Society.
