Kamo Station (Kyoto)

Kuni-kyō (恭仁京, or Kuni no miyako), was the capital city of Japan between 740 and 744, whose imperial palace (恭仁宮 Kuni-kyū or Kuni no miya) was built in the present-day city of Kizugawa in Kyoto Prefecture by the order of Emperor Shōmu.

Kaijūsen-ji is a Buddhist temple in Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. Its five-storied pagoda is a National Treasure of Japan.

Gansen-ji (Japanese: 岩船寺) is a Japanese Buddhist temple of the Shingon Risshu sect in the city of Kizugawa in Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. The temple is known for its hydrangea gardens, and is the fifteenth of the twenty-five Kansai flower temples, a multi-sect association of twenty-five Japanese Buddhist temples in the Kansai region that are known for their flower and foliage displays.The temple is part of the Tono Magaibubu Cultural Property Environmental Conservation Area and is part of two Japanese Buddhist pilgrimages. The temple is fourth of the eighteen ancient Shingon temples and is the 129th of the Kansai region's 152 shrines of the Shinbutsu Pilgrimage.

Jōruri-ji (浄瑠璃寺) is a temple of the Shingon Ritsu school with an historic Japanese garden located in Kizugawa, Kyoto Prefecture, Japan. It is one of the few remaining examples of a Paradise Garden of the early Heian period. The three-storied pagoda, the main hall, the group of nine sitting Amida Nyorai statues and the group of Four Heavenly Kings are all designated as National Treasures. The temple is heavily influenced by Pure Land thought.

Koma-dera ruins (高麗寺跡, Koma-dera ato) is an archeological site with the ruins of a Nara period Buddhist temple located in the Yamashiro neighborhood of the city of Kizugawa, Kyoto, Japan. It was designated as a National Historic Site in 1940 with the area under protection expanded in 2010.

Kamio temple ruins (神雄寺跡, Kamio-dera ato) is an archeological site with the ruins of a Nara period Buddhist temple located in the city of Kizugawa, Kyoto, Japan. It was designated as a National Historic Site in 2015. It was formerly known as the Baba-Minami ruins (馬場南遺跡) after its location. Artifacts excavated from the site has been collectively designated as a National Important Cultural Property.
