Memento Park (Hungarian: Szoborpark) is an open-air museum in Budapest, Hungary, dedicated to monumental statues and sculpted plaques from Hungary's Communist period (1949–1989). There are statues of Lenin, Marx, and Engels, as well as several Hungarian Communist leaders. The park was designed by Hungarian architect Ákos Eleőd, who won the competition announced by the Budapest General Assembly (Fővárosi Közgyűlés) in 1991. On public transport diagrams and other documents the park is usually shown as Memorial Park. A quote by the architect on the project: "This park is about dictatorship. And at the same time, because it can be talked about, described, built, this park is about democracy. After all, only democracy is able to give the opportunity to let us think freely about dictatorship."Memento Park is divided into two sections: Statue Park, officially named "A Sentence About Tyranny" Park after a poem of the same name by Gyula Illyés, and laid out as six oval sections; and Witness Square (also called "Neverwas Square"), which lies east of the main park entrance and is visible without payment. Statue Park houses 42 of the statues and monuments that were removed from Budapest after the fall of communism. Witness Square holds a replica of Stalin's Boots which became a symbol of the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, after the statue of Stalin was pulled down from its pedestal, and is flanked by two single storey timber structures housing the internal exhibition space, their design being evocative of simple internment camp buildings.

Kelenföld railway station (Hungarian: Kelenföldi vasútállomás or incorrectly Kelenföldi pályaudvar, and until 2007 officially Budapest-Kelenföld) is Budapest's fourth busiest railway station (after Keleti pu, Déli pu and Nyugati pu). Opened in 1861, it is situated south-west of the city centre, in Újbuda or District XI in the suburb Kelenföld. Today, Kelenföld is an extremely busy station, with almost all passenger and freight services operated by Hungarian Railways towards Transdanubia passing through. The station is served by Kelenföld vasútállomás metro station and is the terminus of the Line 4 of the Budapest Metro which opened on 28 March 2014.Next to the station there is a suburban Volánbusz bus terminal.

Bikás park is a station on Line 4 of the Budapest Metro. The station is located in the Kelenföld neighborhood in southern Buda. Its name is derived from the park (Bulls Park) in which the station entrance is located. The station was opened on 28 March 2014 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Keleti pályaudvar to Kelenföld vasútállomás.It is among the first in the system to feature skylights. Gábor Dénes College is only a short walk away.

Kelenföld vasútállomás (Kelenföld railway station) is the western terminus of Line 4 of the Budapest Metro. The station was opened on 28 March 2014 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Keleti pályaudvar to Kelenföld vasútállomás.The station, located under Kelenföld railway station and across some of the busiest railroad tracks in Budapest, can be reached through an underpass. This was the former terminus of express bus lines 7E and 107E, which allowed passengers arriving by train to continue traveling to Pest or southern Buda. Since Metro service started on 28 March 2014, passengers traveling by train are able to transfer to Budapest Keleti railway station by Metro without having to take Line 2 from Budapest Déli railway station.

Dennis Gabor University (DGU) (Hungarian: Gábor Dénes Egyetem, GDE) is a private educational institution in Budapest, Hungary. It was established in 1992 as a college, and named after the Hungarian physicist Dennis Gabor (Hungarian: Gábor Dénes). It attained the rank of university in 2023. Since its foundation the University has been operating programs of IT-themed courses. Currently the school offers three different BSc courses, five post-secondary vocational training courses and four postgraduate courses to Hungarian applicants. Since 1992 more than 15,000 students have graduated at Dennis Gabor University.Dennis Gabor University was among the first few higher education institutions which introduced distance education, and certain e-learning methods. Dürer Kert is a music venue in Budapest, Hungary, that plays a significant role in the music life of the city. It started operating in 2008 under Ajtósi Dürer sor but had to move to Újbuda due to property development of the building.

Nagytétény Palace or Száraz-Rudnyánszky Palace is today the furniture museum of the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest established in 1949. It is located at 9-11 Kastélypark Street in the 22nd District of Budapest.

The siege of Buda (14 July – 30 October 1684) was a siege by the Holy Roman Empire of the Ottoman fortress of Buda. After 109 days, the siege was abandoned.
