Simeon (Hebrew: שִׁמְעוֹן‎, Modern: Šīmʾōn, Tiberian: Šīmʾōn) was the second of the six sons of Jacob and Leah, and the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Simeon, according to the Book of Genesis. However, some Biblical scholars view this as postdiction, an eponymous metaphor providing an etiology of the connectedness of the tribe to others in the Israelite confederation. With Leah as a matriarch, Biblical scholars regard the tribe as having been believed by the text's authors to have been part of the original Israelite confederation. However, the tribe is absent from the parts of the Bible which textual scholars regard as the oldest (for example, the ancient Song of Deborah). Some scholars think that Simeon was not originally regarded as a distinct tribe.

Qalqilya or Qalqiliya (Arabic: قلقيلية, romanized: Qalqīlyaḧ) is a Palestinian city in the West Bank which serves as the administrative center of the Qalqilya Governorate of the State of Palestine. In the 2007 census, the city had a population of 41,739. Qalqilya is surrounded by the Israeli West Bank wall, with a narrow gap in the east controlled by the Israeli military and a tunnel to the Palestinian town of Hableh. Qalqilya is under the administration of the Palestinian National Authority (as part of Area A), while remaining under Israeli military occupation. Oranges are a major part of the city's economy.

Kafr Saba (Arabic: كفر سابا), historically Capharsaba, was a Muslim village famous for its shrine dating to the Mamluk period and for a history stretching back for two millennia. The village was depopulated of its Arab residents by Jewish forces on May 13, 1948, one day before the new State of Israel was declared.Much of the village's ruins were built over as the neighboring modern Israel town of Kfar Saba expanded in the late 20th century; the location of the built up area of the village is now the Shikun Kaplan area of modern Kfar Saba, and part of it is known as the "Kfar Saba Archaeological Garden" or "Tel Kfar Saba". Two domed maqams remain, located on either side of Route 55 between Kfar Saba and Qalqiliyya. The larger of the two is called Nabi Yamin, situated on the east side. About 40 meters (44 yd) away, on the west side of the road, is a much smaller shrine named Nabi Serakha. The Nabi Yamin shrine sits on what has historically been considered by Jews to be the biblical character Benjamin and was later taken over by a Haredi Jewish sect.

Qalqilya Zoo is a small 2-hectare (4.9-acre) zoo in the Palestinian city of Qalqilya on the western edge of the West Bank. Established in 1986, it is the only zoo in the State of Palestine. The zoo houses 170 animals, a small Natural History museum, a children's entertainment park, and on-site restaurants.

Beit Berl College is a multi-disciplinary academic college for higher education located in Beit Berl in the Sharon region of Israel. It is one of the oldest colleges in Israel. The college grants undergraduate degrees (B.Ed and B.Ed.F.A.) and graduate degrees (M.Ed and M.Teach) in a variety of disciplines in teaching and education (formal and informal), in the Arts (Fine Arts, Film, Art Education, Art Therapy), Humanities, and Social Sciences. The college also issues teaching certificates for academics and various types of diplomas.

Ramat HaKovesh (Hebrew: רָמַת הַכּוֹבֵשׁ, lit. 'Conqueror's heights') is a kibbutz in central Israel. Located approximately 7 kilometers north of Kfar Saba, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,183.

Beit Berl (Hebrew: בֵּית בֶּרְל, lit. 'Berl House') is an institutional settlement in Israel. Located on the outskirts of Kfar Saba, the village falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council and is the location of Beit Berl College, which has around 7,000 students. In 2021 it had a permanent population of 226.

The Levita Stadium is a football stadium in Kfar Saba, Israel. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Hapoel Kfar Saba and Beitar Kfar Saba. Initial plans for building this stadium were drawn in the late 1960s, and construction began in 1972. However, financial difficulties caused the construction to stop mid-way in 1973 after the Yom Kippur War. The stadium was eventually completed in 1986 and its capacity of 5,800.

Neve Yamin (Hebrew: נְוֵה יָמִין, lit. abode of the right (hand of God)) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Kfar Saba and covering 3,300 dunams, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,065.

Tzofit (Hebrew: צוֹפִית) is a moshav in central Israel. Located near Kfar Saba, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 1,327.

Miska was a Palestinian village, located fifteen kilometers southwest of Tulkarm, depopulated in 1948.

Eyal (Hebrew: אֱיָל; lit. power) is a kibbutz in the Central District of Israel. Located close to the Green line, it falls under the jurisdiction of the Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2021 it had a population of 549.
