The Old Hall Hotel in Coundon near Coventry, England, is a building of historical significance and is Grade II listed on the English Heritage Register. It was built in about 1800 by a wealthy landowner and was called Coundon Villa and later Coundon Hall. It was the residence of several notable people until about 1947, when it was converted to a hotel. Today it is still a hotel which provides accommodation, restaurant and bar facilities.

Keresley is a suburban village and civil parish in the City of Coventry, West Midlands, England, about 4.5 miles (7 km) north of Coventry city centre and 3.5 miles (6 km) southwest of Bedworth. According to the 2001 census, the parish had a population of 791 falling to 713 at the 2011 Census, although the 2018 population was estimated at 783.Keresley and Keresley End are two separate areas; Keresley is in Coventry, while the slightly more rural Keresley End, also known as Keresley Village or Keresley Newlands, is in Warwickshire, with the exception of Thompsons Road in the village, which lies within the Coventry boundary. However, a combination of the lack of a direct bus service and the proximity of classified roads in the area means that traffic is often much slower than this, particularly during the rush hour.

The school serves an age range from 11 to 18, fully comprehensive school serving students from areas surrounding and including the centre of Coventry. The school converted to an Academy in April 2012 retaining the name and staff of the predecessor school.Coundon Court is located in the northwestern suburbs of Coventry, adjacent to the open countryside of the Coundon Wedge.

Corley (and the associated hamlets of Corley Ash and Corley Moor) is a village and civil parish in the North Warwickshire district of Warwickshire, England. The population at the 2011 census was 668. It is located about 8.5 kilometres (5.3 mi) northwest of Coventry and 3.25 kilometres (2.02 mi) southeast of the village of Fillongley. The M6 motorway runs close by, and the area is familiar to motorists as it is the site of Corley Services. Other significant buildings in the area include Corley Hall, which was built in the 16th century. Half-a-mile east of the village lies the sandstone rock formation of Corley Rocks. Corley Ash is situated directly north of the M6 motorway, approximately 1.25 miles (2.01 km) northwest of the main village and 0.8 miles (1.3 km) southeast of Fillongley village centre. Corley Moor hamlet is 1.5 miles (2.4 km) west of Corley village, just south of the M6 motorway. Unusually, residences on the south side of Corley Moor lie within the boundaries of the City of Coventry, so it is split between two local authorities. The parish church of St Mary dates from the 12th century and is a Grade II* listed building. Corley is also home to Corley Cricket Club, which entered its 65th season in 2012. One of the club's most notable former players is James Ormond, who went on to represent England Cricket Team. Following a nationwide competition in 2012 Corley beat over 1500 other cricket clubs to be awarded the title of "Biggest Little Cricket Club" - The most loved and worthy in England and Wales. Club representatives have been invited to the National Outstanding Contribution to Cricket Awards ceremony at Lord's Cricket Ground on two occasions since 2011 following nominations from the Warwickshire Cricket Board. On 14 July 2013 Corley CC hosted the famous Lashings World XI, one the biggest games in the club's history.

Keresley End is a village in the Nuneaton & Bedworth District of Warwickshire, England, also known as Keresley Village or Keresley Newlands. Population details can be found under Exhall. It is situated approximately 1.5 km north of Keresley, an outer suburb of Coventry, and, being close to the former Keresley colliery, it was where many coal miners lived.

Coventry Colliery was a coal mine located in the village of Keresley End in northern Warwickshire, between Bedworth and Coventry, England. Closed in 1991, the site today has been redeveloped as a distribution park, owned by Prologis.

Whitmore Park is a suburban area of Coventry, situated in the north of the city and bordering the suburbs of Keresley, Holbrooks, and Radford. It is served by Whitmore Park and Holy Family RC primary schools, with pupils then attending President Kennedy Comprehensive School or Cardinal Newman RC School (both in nearby Keresley) for secondary education. Whitmore Park's primary public transport access is via the 13 bus route, previously known as Whitmore Park until its northern extension to the Prologis Business Park. The route includes Beake Avenue, Whitmore Park's main thoroughfare. These buses alternate between a direct route to Radford Road and Coventry City Centre and a route via Jubilee Crescent, giving residents easy access to the range of shops at Jubilee Crescent. Whitmore Park is also served by a small parade of shops curving round from Glentworth Avenue to Beake Avenue, including a fish and chip shop, newsagents, hairdressers and a chemist. The parade also includes an off-licence and food outlets. The site of a former petrol station at the end of the parade retains its car repair works and car wash.

Coundon is a predominantly residential suburb in north-west Coventry, West Midlands, England.Along with neighbouring Keresley, it was originally a village in the Warwickshire countryside, but by the 1930s had been incorporated into the city of Coventry, when mass housebuilding took place to accommodate the city's growing population.From 1951 to 2005, Coundon was the location of the Browns Lane Jaguar car factory, which for its first 47 years was the carmaker's only plant. Upon its closure in 2005, production of cars was split between factories in Castle Bromwich and Halewood, and the Browns Lane plant was largely demolished in 2008, although part of the site remains under Jaguar ownership, and some is now used by a vehicle interiors manufacturer.

The Browns Lane plant in Coventry, England was built as a Second World War shadow factory run by The Daimler Company Limited. In 1951 it was leased by Jaguar Cars and remained the company's home until 2005. It was the site of all Jaguar production until 1998, when production of the Jaguar S-Type commenced at the Castle Bromwich plant, which first produced Jaguar cars in 1977. It was also the firm's corporate headquarters and the home of the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. Jaguar's production at Browns Lane waned over the years, as new models were gradually assigned to Castle Bromwich Assembly in Birmingham and the former Ford Halewood Body & Assembly in Halewood, Liverpool. However, the core Jaguar XJ and XK ranges remained on the site until they were moved to Castle Bromwich in 2005. Subsequently, the Browns Lane site housed just the headquarters and museum as well as 500 staff responsible for wood veneering for Jaguar, Aston Martin, and Land Rover. Later, the headquarters moved to the Whitley plant, Whitley, Coventry but the Wood Shop (Veneer Manufacturing Centre), Museum and Pilot Build Workshop remained at Browns Lane. Australian property firm Macquarie Goodman announced its purchase of Browns Lane in 2007. This marked the end of Jaguar’s presence at the site after more than 50 years. The assembly halls were demolished in late 2008.
